• HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE - Saturday, <strong>December</strong> 1 st , 10:30 AM-4 PM,<br />
Meeting Room. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays<br />
with music, refreshments, crafts and a family holiday movie during this<br />
festive open-house event. Materials and refreshments are made possible<br />
through the generous support of the Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch<br />
Library.<br />
10:30-11:30 AM: “DIY Recycled-Book Crafts for the Holidays.” Learn how<br />
to recycle old books into creative works of art!<br />
11:30 AM-12 Noon: Light refreshments will be available in the Multipurpose<br />
Room.<br />
12:30-4 PM: Family Holiday Movie. In this 1994 family comedy, Tim Allen<br />
plays a divorced advertising executive who inadvertently becomes the<br />
real St. Nick when he puts on the Santa suit of the man who fell off his<br />
roof. This movie is rated PG.<br />
• SOCIAL SECURITY 101 - Monday, <strong>December</strong> 10 th , 6:30-8 PM, Meeting<br />
Room. Andrew Hardwick, Metropolitan Public Affairs Specialist for<br />
the Social Security Administration, will provide an overview of Social<br />
Security and the Medicare program.<br />
