OKtoberfest<br />
Oktoberfest had a bit more of a meeting feel to it this year, owing to<br />
the new registration process, but it was no less celebratory than years<br />
past at the Local 399. Good food, good beer and good company made<br />
for a memorable night out. Our thanks, as always, go out to our many<br />
generous sponsors who made the night special, including Affiliated Parts,<br />
Air Comfort Corporation, Chicago Cooling Tower Corporation Inc., BEAR<br />
Construction, Bornquist Inc., F.E. Moran, Imbert International and The Hill<br />
Group. Please remember to give them your business when you need their<br />
services — our Affiliate members are the best in the business.<br />
Our thanks also go out to the folks at Fanning Communications, in<br />
particular Alex Boerner, who always does a tremendous job setting up<br />
these events, and to Joseph Neathawk and John Fanning for their help in<br />
streamlining the registration process.<br />
