Signing Day
Local athletes ready for college
Michael Wojtychiw
Sports Editor
For those high school
athletes that are bound to
be college athletes, National
Signing Day is one
of the most exciting, if not
the most exciting, days of
their high school careers.
It’s the day they finally get
to put their name on paper,
letting everyone know
what institution they’ll be
attending starting in the
fall.
There are three National
Signing days throughout
the school year: the early
signing period in November,
Football National
Signing Day in both December
and February and
then lastly, the regular
signing period, which is in
April.
Both New Trier and
Loyola held ceremonies
for all of the students that
