shall we buy bread for these
people to eat?” He asked this
only to test him, for he already
had in mind what he was going
to do. Philip answered him, “It
would take more than half a
year’s wages to buy enough
bread for each one to have a
bite!”

OUR G series, Winning the Game of Money, comes to an
end today.
But your financial journey does not.
The journey is long, with many zigzags and bumpy
roads.
Are you ready? Your Feast Family will be right
here beside you.
Promise me that you’ll enjoy every step of the trip.
After all, why do we ride roller coasters and the
bumpy ride of banana boats? (And even pay to get
scared?)
Along the way, there will be many wonderful
lessons you must learn in this journey, from financial
literacy to financial psychology.
But in the end, more than growing your cash, God
wants you to grow your character. And I really believe
that if you keep doing the right thing, money will follow
at the right time.
Today, our Special Guest is none other than
my mentor, Rex Mendoza, author of the book, Firing
On All Cylinders. If you’re an employee,
entrepreneur, or investor, you need to listen
to him because he succeeded in each of
these roles.

GOD CAN DO A LOT WITH YOUR LITTLE

When Jesus looked up and saw a great
crowd coming toward Him, He said to
Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for
these people to eat?” He asked this
only to test him, for he already had in
mind what he was going to do. Philip
answered him, “It would take more than
half a year’s wages to buy enough bread
for each one to have a bite!” Another of
his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke
up, “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and
two small fish, but how far will they go among so
many?” –John 6:5-9
In essence, God doesn’t need anything or
anyone to make a miracle. But it’s good to reflect
on why He asked His disciples how they were going
to feed so many — even if He already knew what He
was going to do to begin with.
My thoughts? He wanted to involve everyone.
The miracle of feeding five thousand was just
secondary.
The real miracle was that a little boy cared a
little to give all that he had.
God wants us to get involved. He needs us
to care even just a little bit. To be a little kinder. To
be a little more compassionate. To be a little more
generous. Little acts become big when you put some
heart into it.
Today, we’ll learn how God can do a lot with
your little.
You will be blessed today.

I Found Healing through Mary
In line with the commemoration the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of
Mary on December 8, Financial Advisor Jose Leo “JL” De Castro shares how the
Virgin Mother helped him in his struggles.
I went through a year of brokenness for I lost my selfesteem,
my reputation. Ironically, after some prayers and
weeks of discernment with Mother Mary, I lost my girlfriend.
I went through that year with extreme anger, fear and
paranoia.
Despite these, I never lost my belief in God.
While I wallowed in despair, He allowed me to
reconnect with a special lady whom I found to be humble,
simple and prayerful. She likes to organize programs for the
poor and children.
One day, she asked me to help her make small rosary
bracelets for a charity event she was organizing. As I was
stringing the beads, I sensed healing in my heart.

“God always listens to our prayers." That was what my
mom taught me at a young age.
When my family was having trouble getting a visa to
Bahrain, where my dad was working, we prayed together at
night. In two weeks, we were with my dad in the Middle East.
That event made a great impact on my faith.
Family in Prayer
My family and I enjoyed a lot of happy and memorable
moments in that foreign land.
When I was 13 years old, we almost met an accident
that could have killed us. One of the gas tanks in the kitchen
caught fire. Thanks to the gardener –an angel in disguise –
who alerted us and put out the fire. In thanksgiving, my mom
told us to pray the rosary from then on saying, "This is our
second chance in life."
Mama Mary showed Herself in very specific times
and moments of my life – from miraculously passing exams
to helping us out of sticky situations. My faith was tested
numerous times, especially after graduating from college.
Some were extreme – dealing with demons and other
entities to the appearance of oil on my hands during a
significant healing mass.
Trying Times

I went through traumatic experiences in the last four
years. At work, the environment was toxic, but with prayers
and encouragement from friends and Brother Bo’s Full Tank,
my colleagues and I managed somehow. But in the end, I
resigned.
I had a bright idea. Men have a very important spiritual
role in the family so I thought to create semi-precious beads
to encourage more men to pray the Rosary wherever they
are.
The first day I started selling these bracelets, they were
sold out immediately. I took it as an affirmation because I
have never sold anything in my life. I decided to continue it
for Mother Mary and Jesus.
Every time I prayed the Rosary and made the religious
bracelets, I felt at peace, the anger in my heart slowly
disappearing. I also had revelations and realizations which
I never had before. Things kind of fell into place. I met
counselors and new friends who helped me greatly on the
road to recovery. They gave me compassion, a listening
ear, help through my grief, and opportunities to serve God
through the Feast.
Later on, I met a mentor who showed me possibilities
to do business online. More importantly, I became more
gentle, generous, at peace and more submissive to God's will
than I have ever been in my life.
Finding Love Among Others
God, through Mary and Her Rosary, has given me the
opportunity to heal, to find love, to earn and also to give to
the people around me.
I still struggle though. I still have sins I have not yet
conquered. But I am with good people who are helping me
progress in the way that I feel like I am made for.
Our Lady promises to send extraordinary graces to
those who pray the Rosary faithfully. Now, I look forward to
what will happen next in my life journey.

Big Message: Do it one step at a time.

Grit is all about perseverance – the ability to complete a
task to the very end. To complete a task, all one has to do is
take one step after the other.
Steps to financial blessings:
• Positioning. Be in the path of people who will help
and pray for you.
• Perseverance. Be relentless in pursuing your
dreams. Take a step closer to your dreams every day.
• Patience. Be more understanding to yourself and to
the people around you.
The Lord’s Masterpiece. Persevere in achieving your
dreams and be patient along the way. In the Bible, when
a crippled beggar asked the disciples, Peter and John,
for money, but they didn’t give him any. Instead, Peter
performed a miracle for him.
In the same way, God doesn’t just want to give you
money, He wants to give you a miracle. When the Lord is
finished with you, you will become His masterpiece — and
he was able to walk.

loves the unchurched.
Who are the unchurched?
THIS IS THE FEAST
Those, for one reason or another, who
left their parish church, or their Catholic
religion, or those who stopped believing in
God. They stopped going to church.
What to expect?
We gather weekly to praise and worship
and listen to meaningful and practical
topics –messages that are relevant to our
personal, business, financial and spiritual
lives. Our songs don’t sound religious. And
the preacher or worship leaders or singers
don’t look religious, either.

Where to find us?
We are in the malls, in movie houses, restaurants, civic centers, homes and offces.
We don’t hold The Feast in parish churches because many of the unchurched won’t
go near a church. Some are bored or angry at the Church.
