ION EXCHANGE, CATALYST, ADSORBENT AND SPECIALTY RESINS<br />
Continued High Raw Materials and Operating Costs Forces <strong>Increase</strong><br />
Bala Cynwyd, PA – July 9th, 2007 -- Due to sustained high costs for raw<br />
materials, transportation and energy, <strong>Purolite</strong>, the largest privately held ion<br />
exchange, catalyst, adsorbent and specialty resin manufacturer, will increase its<br />
prices worldwide for all products and services. The price increases are effective<br />
August 1st, 2007. <strong>Price</strong>s will increase an average of 5% percent.<br />
“ <strong>Purolite</strong> has made great strides in recent months to reduce overall<br />
operating costs and in improving product and service quality. Continued cost<br />
escalation, however, forces us to pass part of the raw material and operating cost<br />
increases we are incurring, to our customers” said Mr. Stefan Brodie, President<br />
and CEO.<br />
