Come and enjoy time with your friends.<br />
There will be homemade cake, gluten free cake,<br />
tea cakes, fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate, light<br />
lunches of soup and a roll and freshly made<br />
sandwiches with a side salad.<br />
Proceeds to: Children’s Society<br />
Many children and young people in this country don’t feel safe, loved or able to cope.<br />
The Children’s Society is a national charity that runs local services that work with venerable young<br />
people to provide the support they need. It also campaigns to change law so that children are better<br />
protected and happier.<br />

Entertainment starts on the Town Meadow at 5.00 pm<br />

There will be entertainment on the stage provided by<br />
children’s entertainer Mr Merlin and Oakey Dokey the Dragon,<br />
The <strong>Gillingham</strong> Area Schools Partnership,<br />
and carols with <strong>Gillingham</strong> Community Choir accompanied<br />
by <strong>Gillingham</strong> Imperial Silver Band.<br />
Father Christmas will parade along the High Street at 6.00pm and<br />
is looking forward to meeting the children in his grotto following<br />
the tree lighting.<br />
The Anonymous Travelling Market will be in the High Street<br />
car park selling tasty treats and crafts and <br />
<strong>Gillingham</strong> Methodist Church will be serving<br />
refreshments<br />
