The premise of dire
pleasure
The ecstasy doesn’t last.
The gravity of seduction
On the edge of insanity
To become a dry season
An unfulfilled fantasy.
Strong desires fully
govern
Repetition to propagate
A mosaic ritualistic
Code of ethics, not
debate.
Silent darkness, provoking
Affliction tears at the soul
Trapped in sorrowful
spirit
Corrupting mankind’s
role.
Polluted distorted views
Unbridled restraint in tow
Offensive to our holy God
His wrath, what we have
sewn.
In the brink of sin’s madness
Defenseless, not at a loss
Confession and repentance
Trust the Savior and His
cross.
