EA GameChanger, FootballQueeny discusses the role, FIFA 19 and the recent
Capture event in Berlin
How did you get into e-sports and become
an EA GameChanger?
I have always liked football and gaming but becoming an EA
GameChanger was mostly due to my YouTube and Twitter, I think.
Through building relationships with fellow YouTubers and FIFA
esport players, I got far more involved with the competitive side of
the game.
However, I am definitely nowhere near as good as the pros
at playing FIFA, unfortunately!
What does it take to be an EA Game Changer?
The program gives us the opportunity to voice our opinions
and represent the community. Therefore, both a real interest
in the game and a passion for change are vital to make the
most of this chance.
Tell us about the Capture Event in Berlin
I was very thankful for EA’s invitation. It was a very well run, threeday
long event that gave FIFA content creators the opportunity to
record some early footage for their channels.
On top of that, it was also great to meet and catch up with
all of the other Game Changers, some of them you can see
in the picture.
You also got the opportunity to go to Gamescom
what was the highlight of this event?
The most exciting thing for me was to meet up with all
of the YouTubers whose content I have been watching
for years.
Do you think EA did plenty of research
before launching FIFA 19?
I think they always do. This time around, their research
also included obtaining feedback from the community
