Lewis Wright talks about his new role taking
the reigns of VFL West Ham PS4 and the
aims for the new season
You have played and managed in both
VPG and VFL leagues, how do you
compare the two?
I really enjoy using both of the sites and I find they both have their
own advantages and disadvantages.
On VPG I really like how the contract section works, however,
with VFL I find that the site overall is much easier to work my way
around. If I was asked to pick which is the better site out of the
two, I would struggle to be honest.
Who will you be managing this season?
This season on FIFA 19 I will be managing VFL West Ham on the
PS4 side.
What league are you in and who do you
see as your main competition?
We’re playing in the Championship and we see the league as
a huge competition, all the teams are going to be competitive,
however, a good cup run and getting close to a cup trophy is also
big for us. We will aim to go as far as we can in all competitions
we enter.
What formation do you like your teams
to play?
Usually I tend to stick with 4-2-3-1 because I like the two holding
midfielders and also the three CAMS, but I don’t mind using
4-1-2-1-2 narrow especially when you’ve got some good passing
players in the side. I also like to occasionally use 3-5-2 but that
formation only works in my eyes with the right players.
How did you do last season?
Last season on VFL I was in charge over at Augsburg which was
my first season fully in charge and we just missed out on the
play-offs by a few points. On VPG, I was playing CB for The Mighty
Imps where I managed to get myself in TOTS for my first time
which I was pretty chuffed with!
