RCMP
RCMP vehicle damaged
in pursuit of stolen truck
Submitted
Hanna RCMP located a stolen truck
on Highway 589 and Range Road 164 on
Dec. 10 at approximately 5:30 p.m.
While waiting for the stolen truck to
be towed, police observed a suspicious
vehicle approaching the area and
attempted to stop it.
The vehicle then fled the scene and a
short pursuit ensued.
The pursuit ended when the police
vehicle collided with the suspect
vehicle, sustaining extensive damage.
The suspect vehicle continued to flee
the area and was not located.
The suspect vehicle is described as:
Ford F250/F350, white with grey/black
trim on the bottom of doors and
around wheel wells, and damage on
rear left tire well and bumper, last
seen travelling southbound on
Highway 851 towards Highway 9.
No police officers or members of the
general public were injured in this
matter.

Oyen RCMP arrest wanted male
Oyen RCMP arrested a male wanted
for being unlawfully at large out of
Calgary on Dec. 12 at approximately 9
a.m.
Kevin Michael Knorr (42) of no fixed
address was to be
serving an intermittent
jail
sentence in
Calgary for
assault causing
bodily harm, but
failed to report in.
Knorr also
faces additional
charges
including: resist/
obstruction of
police officer and
failure to comply

with probation order (x3).
He has been remanded into custody
after a judicial hearing and appeared
in Drumheller Provincial Court on
Fri. Dec. 14, 2018.
Mischief maker arrested
A male entered the Heartland Lodge
in Stettler on Dec. 11 and stole some
items and caused some mischief and
damage on the premises.
The male suspect was described as
being of average height, in his 20’s
wearing a yellow and black jacket.
The male responsible for this incident
was located and arrested at
approximately 12 p.m. on Wed. Dec. 13.
He is expected to appear before a
Justice of the Peace to speak to this
and a number of other recent
incidents.
The male’s name will not be disclosed
due to his age.
Arrested on outstanding warrants
Stettler RCMP responded to a report
of a possible wanted male hitchhiking
on Highway 589 near Stettler on Dec.
10 at approximately 7 p.m.
Cody Ian Jensen (24) of no fixed
address was arrested without incident
on outstanding warrants.
Jensen was also identified as a suspect
during the same evening who
attempted to steal a truck, and break
and enter into another vehicle in the
Stettler area, before being located.
