A group of six willing volunteers met close to Bar Sardi in Pedralba and travelled to the property of Sid<br />

and Lin Shepherd, with our gardening gloves and appropriate tools to carry out the task of<br />

"deweeding" the area of garden leading from the gate up to the house and around the terrace area.<br />

appreciated by Sid and Lin and we all agreed to continue with the task next month. In addition to the hard<br />

coffee throughout the day, provided by Lin and Sid, and, in fact, it was an enjoyable social occasion as well as<br />

hard physical work. Special mention should be made of Richard Gentry who, although not a member of this<br />

group, lent his gardening expertise and a lot of physical effort to the day. Thank you, Richard.<br />
