A C T I O N
A group of six willing volunteers met close to Bar Sardi in Pedralba and travelled to the property of Sid
and Lin Shepherd, with our gardening gloves and appropriate tools to carry out the task of
"deweeding" the area of garden leading from the gate up to the house and around the terrace area.
appreciated by Sid and Lin and we all agreed to continue with the task next month. In addition to the hard
coffee throughout the day, provided by Lin and Sid, and, in fact, it was an enjoyable social occasion as well as
hard physical work. Special mention should be made of Richard Gentry who, although not a member of this
group, lent his gardening expertise and a lot of physical effort to the day. Thank you, Richard.
