Now serving her country and 

stationed in Anchorage, Hailey was 

only 15 years old when she became one 

of MTI’s first sponsored athletes. From 

the whitewater course in Wausau, WI 

to traveling the world competing in 

slalom and freestyle races, this fierce 

teenage competitor also developed her 

artistic flair. At the end of every season 

we received a handmade thank you card 

with her original artwork on the cover. A 

simple gesture that always made Hailey 

a standout among our growing team of

and US Coast Guard Lieutenant. Her

The USA Women’s Raft Team is governed by the United States Rafting Association and serves to promote and grow 

the sport of women’s raft racing in the USA. In 2018, MTI helped send three women’s teams to the Worlds in Argentina, 

including the first R4 Masters Team which has an average age of 54. 

Underlining their mission to support all women chasing their dreams both on and off the river,
