UBG sweeps
FPCCI elections 2019
The Federation of Pakistan Chambers
of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI)
held its Annual General meeting on
December 29, 2018 at Federation
House Karachi wherein the Election
Commission announced the results
of FPCCI Elections 2019. As per
results of FPCCI Election 2019, Eng.
Daroo Khan elected as a President
FPCCI with 174 votes and Dr. Mirza
Ikhtair Baig elected as Sr. Vice
President FPCCI with 174 votes for
the year 2019.

Associations, Abdul Waheed Khan got
153 votes Noor Ahmed Khan got 116
votes, Mulim Muhammadi got 113
votes and Arshad Jamal got 111 votes
and elected as Vice Presidents of
FPCCI 2019. Waqar Mahmood Khan
and Haji Iftikhar Ahmed elected

Yousaf Baig Mirza as his
Special Assistant on
Media Affairs, according
to a notification issued
by the Cabinet Division.
His appointment would be in
honorary capacity, it added. Baig had
served as the managing director of
state-run TV and helped launch
several private TV channels.

has appointed Dr Sania
Nishtar as Chairperson

According to Finance
Division, Dr Nishtar is a
well-respected a political
professional, civil society
leader and former cabinet minister and a
9 votes and elected Vice President on
the seat of Women Chambers.
All the Elected Office Bearers belong to
UBG which is headed by S. M. Muneer
and Iftikhar Ali Malik. The newly
elected President FPCCI Eng Daroo
Khan assured in his first address in
Executive committee meeting that
special attention will be given to
resolve the issues of business
community in the time to come and
will take on board ruling group and
opposition group without any
discrimination for policy advocacy on
national issues.
