sent, and brought him in. Now he [was] ruddy, [and] withal<br />

of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the<br />

LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this [is] he. {16:13}<br />

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the<br />

midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came<br />

upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and<br />

went to Ramah.{16:14} But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul,and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. {16:15}And<br />

the Philistines.{17:20} And David rose up early in the morning, and leftt<br />

with him.{16:19} Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, andsaid, Send me David thy son, which [is] with the sheep.{16:20} A<br />

was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.{17:1} Now the Philistines gathered together their armiesto battle, and were gathered to<br />

killeth him.{17:28} And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spakeunto<br />

[there was] a valley between them.{17:4} And there went out a champion out of the camp ofthe Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, who<br />

said, What have I now done? [Is there] not a cause?
