Five-Week French Immersion<br />

- SUMMER<br />

Overview of the program<br />

The schedule of classroom sessions, workshops, organized cultural <strong>and</strong> sporting activities<br />

maximizes the students’ exposure to the French language <strong>and</strong> culture to ensure an<br />

ideal learning experience. You will be charmed by the region’s scenery <strong>and</strong> its beautiful<br />

sunsets. Our Program attracts sports enthusiasts as well as budding musicians. On the first<br />

day of the Program, students will be assessed to ensure proper class placement. Qualified,<br />

experienced <strong>and</strong> friendly instructors work with students to achieve the proficiency<br />

expected at each level, from beginner to advanced.<br />

Levels<br />

• 3 beginner levels • 3 intermediate levels • 2 advanced levels<br />

Placement tests are given on the first day of school <strong>and</strong> groups are formed by levels.<br />

Each class has about 20 students. The number of classes is adjusted according to the<br />

number of registered students <strong>and</strong> their language placement test results.<br />

Eligibility (12 years old <strong>and</strong> over)<br />

International student applicants must be attending at least Grade 7<br />

(Secondary 1 in Québec).<br />

Fees<br />

Registration fee: CAD 275<br />

Tuition <strong>and</strong> residency: CAD 3,000 (CAD 600 / week)<br />

(Full board, 3 meals / day)<br />

Total: CAD 3,275<br />

Three-Week French Immersion<br />

The regular school year’s three-week preparation program is the continuation of<br />

the five-week summer program <strong>and</strong> can be considered as a prerequisite for the<br />

regular school year. The schedule of classroom sessions, workshops, organized<br />

cultural <strong>and</strong> sporting activities maximizes the students’ exposure to the French<br />

language <strong>and</strong> culture to ensure an ideal learning experience.<br />

Levels<br />

• 3 beginner levels • 3 intermediate levels • 2 advanced levels<br />

Regular School Year<br />

Overview of the program<br />

Students registered for the complete school year at the Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-<br />

Pocatière have the opportunity to pursue a quality education in a completely safe environment.<br />

What’s more, students have the possibility to participate in different programs <strong>and</strong><br />

concentrations thereby living out their passions. At the end of their secondary / high school<br />

years, students can receive two diplomas, one from the Ministry of Education <strong>and</strong> High<br />

Studies (MEES) of Quebec <strong>and</strong> the diploma of their local educational institution.<br />
