this event showcasing local
authors and community heroes.
Guests will have the
opportunity to hear each
author discuss their book.
Authors include Barbara
Berg-Mies, Amy Logan and
Garret Rhea. Participating
local heroes will have stations
around the library to
share their superpowers.
Local heroes include representatives
from Homer
Township Fire Protection
District firefighters, M&M
Acres, Therapy Dogs International,
Kidz Play and
the Will County Sheriff’s
Office. Guests will also be
given a “passport” to have
stamped at each station.
Completed passports will be
entered into a prize drawing.
Passport stations include an
author’s alcove, heroes corner,
be-kind valentines, tattoo
corner and refreshment
