Legal Notice Representative
22nd Century Media LLC - Orland Park, IL
22nd Century Media has a Legal and Public Notice
Representative position open for it’s Southwest Suburban Team. The
position would be responsible for the placement, coordination, and
publishing of legal and public notices in 22nd Century Media's 15
publications. Notices will come from civic bodies, businesses, and
private parties. Candidates should be comfortable and familiar with being
on the phone and computer while also working with various clients as
well as being able to process the appropriate paperwork. This position
offers a base salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
What you are responsible for:
• Entering all legal and public notices in the appropriate
newspaper for the correct run dates
• Processing affidavits that the notices were published
and sending them to the client.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Working closely with clients to meet their public and legal notice needs
• Working with the inside sales team in the Classified Department
• Copywriting content for ads with clients to develop the right message
• Keeping track of legal notices and their weekly revenue targets
Qualifications: Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work
independently as well as with a team. A desire to learn not only the legal
notice process but also gain experience in media and working with an
inside sales team. Excellent communication skills, time-management,
comfort with selling over the phone, face to face as well as e-mail, and
interpersonal skills required.
