The Den at<br />
<strong>Hordle</strong> CE (VA)<br />
Primary School<br />
We are very pleased to have our own Breakfast and After School Clubs at<br />
<strong>Hordle</strong> Primary School, collectively known as The Den. At The Den we have an<br />
amazing array of activities taking place every day and we thought we would<br />
share some of these with our local community.<br />
The Autumn has provided us with a wonderful assortment of natural treasures<br />
which the children have turned into some beautiful homemade crafts,<br />
including sun-catchers and mobiles. We also built a hedgehog house and<br />
spoke about how to care for our wildlife and keep it safe.<br />
The children were invited to take part in a colouring competition by our local<br />
Co-Op and had lots of fun creating their masterpieces which were put on<br />
display in the shop window for all to admire. We were lucky enough to win<br />
prizes for our pictures and would like to say a huge thank you to the Co-Op<br />
for their support.<br />
Our baking skills have been on show this term with the<br />
children creating flapjacks, cheesecake and bonfire<br />
cupcakes.<br />
We have also been busy creating calendars for the year<br />
ahead as well as an array of painting, construction and<br />
games.<br />
