Courage Talk 3

“God has shown you his grace in many different
ways. So be good servants and use whatever gift
he has given you in a way that will best serve each

5 years ago, I saw the true image of the Catholic
Church at the Feast: a celebration not just a
ceremony, an encounter not just an ordinary
experience, and a Feast not just a gathering.
I started serving as a photographer in 2018. I
promised myself that I will let others see what I saw
5 years ago, and let them feel through the photos
I take the presence of our Lord, and testify how a

Before serving God, I was just relying on my own
strength, so I didn’t know which path I should take.
But ever since I started serving God 6 years ago,
I found my purpose. I was able to achieve what I
thought was impossible for me. I began to trust God
and His plans. I’m not where I am today without
God. And I will continue to worship and thank

Dancing is also my form of worship. Worship
songs are my battle-cry, and the stage is my
battleground. Whenever I dance, I offer every beat,
rhythm and step to the only One I want to please,

I wasn’t really serious about serving Jesus. It
was more of gusto ko lang tumugtog. Now, I’ve
been serving for about 9 years, and I’ve had the
pleasure serving with other teams from other Feasts,
including Feast Worship. Being a part of the Worship
Team has played an integral part in my growth, not
only as a musician and a worshiper, but also as a
leader, a follower, a listener and a friend.” -Arien

Noong una, hindi ko agad ramdam ang service kasi
para lang akong taga-takbo, taga-abot ng mga mic,
at taga-tawag ng worship team. Naisip ko, “Bakit
ako nandito?” Pero as time goes by, na-realize
ko na hindi man ako nilagay ni Lord kung saan ko
gusto, nilagay naman niya ako sa kung saan ako mas
sasaya. Sa tinagal-tagal ng panahon, dito ko lang

Intercessory Ministry plays an important part in
my life. This may not be the one that planted faith
in my heart, but IM is one of those that waters me
with so much. It lead me to my home - to the twin

I started small by helping my parents in preparing
the altar table, and the things to be used at home
because we were not allowed to celebrate masses in
the country we lived in. I’ve been faithful to God
since then. Serving as a butler here is a big thing
to me because I really love to arrange the altar

Marami akong nakilalang mga kaibigan no’ng
nag serve ako. At higit sa lahat, mas lalo pa
akong napapalapit kay Lord. Kahit ano man ang
nararamdaman ko, ‘pag ako ay naglilingkod, lalo
pa akong nai-inspire na magpatuloy sa buhay, at

I am serving at Feast SM Manila Finance Ministry
for almost 10 years now, and being here has always
blessed me whenever I see many generous people and
young people give their tithes and offer their love

Isa sa mga paborito kong trabaho no’ng nasa
corporate world pa ako ay ang maging secretary.
Pero higit na mas masayang gawin ito lalo na’t sa
bawat ginagawa ko, si Kristo ang pinagsisilbihan ko
sa pamamagitan ng Secretariat Ministry. Tinanggap
ko agad ito ng may galak at excitement sa puso ko.

For almost 4 years in the ministry, I have overcome
my fear of facing the crowd. I think what helped
me get rid of that is the task to pray for the first
time attendees before they go home. It’s my favorite
because it is also a way for me to pray for myself,
and talk to God through talking to them. For me,
that’s one of the best things a person could feel!-

Sa pagiging isa sa mga usher, nagkaroon ako ng
tiwala sa sarili ko. Natutunan ko na magmahal at
magpamahal, at mag tiwala pa sa plano ng Diyos sa
buhay ko. At higit sa lahat naging miyembro ako ng
isang malaking pamilya na laging pinaparamdam

Service for boys lang daw, pero nandito ako, isang
babae na nagse-serve bilang security. ‘Yung akala
nilang nagpapacute sa tabi, nagmamasid na pala.
‘Yung akala nilang nagpapamacho lang sa pagbubuhat,
nagkakawang-gawa na pala. ‘Yung akala nila nag
se-secure lang, nagmamahal na pala. Strict,
pero loving! Serving with God, secured with love!
