Some of these suggestions include:
Fundraising events for the Community Spirit group to raise money for the possible purchase of a group van.
This will relieve the, so far, exclusive use of Dave and his Van, who has been a key player in getting this
project off the ground. Also, a group van could be used by members of the group for many uses, especially
as we move forward to attend Boot sales and markets etc to help raise funds for projects by the Community
Spirit group.
We can also be grateful for the new members that attended the meeting who put forward some great ideas. For
example, for items that are not perhaps fully functional can be upcycled or recycled and sold to add to the funds.
There are also many items that have been donated that are not typical for the home furnishing that can be sold at
Boot sales or markets etc.
To reach those that need this service an idea of distributing flyers in various locations where people may go for their
basic daily needs to spread the word and reach out to those who can truly benefit.
We are still looking for a solution to the storage of the items as our present solution is bursting at the seems and

although we are confident once the project really takes off the issue of storage will be alleviated to a great degree, we

still need a more permanent solution for the future, if anyone has any suggestions, all will be gratefully received. A
more futuristic solution if fund raising for the group goes well is for the possible purchase of storage facilities in some
form.
Overall, we are entering exciting times and even though we are still in the first month of 2019 it has started the year
with some great future possibilities of what the Community Spirit group can achieve. This is truly going to be an
exciting year.
