Purbeck Association of the National Trust 32 nd Annual General Meeting Notice is hereby given that the above meeting will be held in The Carey Hall, Mistover Road, Wareham at 2.30 pm on Thursday 18 th April 2019 AGENDA 1. Submission of Annual Accounts and Honorary Treasurer’s Report 6. Election of an Independent Examiner of the Accounts 7. Election of Officers and Committee Members Cecily Carpenter, David Cole, Keith Southern, Margaret Tyrer and Les Wright have all completed at least five years on the Committee and are willing to be considered for re-election for a further twelve months 8. Any Other Business Members must inform the Honorary Secretary in writing by 4 th April 2019 if they wish to raise any matters under Item 8 of the Agenda At the conclusion of the AGM business we will have an afternoon tea and Angela Cott, the NT General Manager for Brownsea, will talk about the unique challenges of managing a property that is not only an island, but one where there is a need for working partnerships with three other organisations that have their own leased areas. She will then go on to talk about recent changes and ones that are planned or hoped for in the future. In accordance with our Constitution, the present Officers and Committee Members retire but, if eligible, may offer themselves for re-election. Using the form below (see p6) any Member may nominate another Member (with their prior agreement) to serve on the Committee. These forms must be received by the Honorary Secretary no later than 4 th April 2019. Some members of the existing Committee are standing down this year so it is hoped that all Members will give their help to maintain and strengthen the work of the Association.
