Work gathers<br />

Myton Green<br />

<strong>The</strong> first phase of major infrastructure delivery<br />

for 735 new homes on the Myton Green<br />

residential development in Warwick is nearing<br />

the halfway mark.<br />

<strong>The</strong> 56 week programme is progressing well,<br />

with earthworks continuing on schedule and the<br />

formation of balancing ponds and watercourses<br />

completed. Installation of paths and play areas will<br />

be commencing in the coming weeks. Other work<br />

includes the delivery of the first section of a treelined<br />

community spine road, which will eventually<br />

link Europa Way with Gallows Hill, along with the<br />

creation of an extensive green corridor adjacent to<br />

Myton Brook.<br />

footpaths and cycleways along with the planting<br />

of more than 250 specimen trees set in around<br />

20 acres of green open space.<br />

Through the various developments, L&Q Estates<br />

has contributed over £25m towards providing<br />

new and upgrading existing infrastructure in<br />

the area, and is directly delivering some of the<br />

road improvements in the local area required<br />

to accommodate the planned growth and new<br />

community in the area.<br />

THE DEVELOPMENT OF WARWICK GATES<br />

<strong>The</strong> property development and investment<br />

company has secured various planning<br />

permissions in recent years to deliver 1,455<br />

new homes at the site to the south-east of<br />

Warwick following lengthy consultations with<br />

the District Council, County Council and other<br />

local stakeholders.<br />

<strong>The</strong> developments are also involved in delivering<br />

community facilities, a primary school a country<br />

park and transport infrastructure.<br />

in the planning, funding and the delivery of<br />

Heathcote Primary School, which opened its doors<br />

in October 2017, only a few hundred metres from<br />

its headquarters.<br />

Warwick as well as the delivery of the much-needed<br />

new homes, highlights our approach to creating<br />

and delivering quality places and the value of<br />
