EDITORS VOICE
It is funny how football grabs you, I mean lets
face it we are top of the table all be it by goal
difference and the boys are loving it, every
time we run out, every one gives 100%, blood
sweat and tears, we are lucky to have a band
of happy players, usually at this time of the
year teams stumble hard yet we are in this for
the long game, lets keep going as we are and
im sure come the end of the season, we will
be up there, flying the red flag, welcome to all
or East Yorkshire Carnegie friends, we hope
you have a great stay with us here today, and a
safe journey back across the bridge.
We have lost a footballing legend recently in
Gordon Banks, someone who I had met and
can say of him, he was gent a true nice guy of
the game, it just shows how awesome he was
in the fact that since his tenure as England
number one, abate Shilton and Clemence
there have been 31 goalkeepers who have not
