Planting the Seeds of Lifelong Learning
The Learning Nest Preschool Program incorporates
the Illinois State Board of Education Early Childhood
Learning Standards and Jolly Phonics to educate your
child. In addition to nurturing the development of
your child’s social and emotional growth, we have
put in place a program that builds a foundation
necessary to support your child’s future academic
challenges. Preschool runs continuously throughout
the school year, observing the same holidays and
no school day schedule as District 44 (Lombard).
Children must be the appropriate age by September 1.
There is a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE administrative fee
to register. Preschool tuition is paid in equal monthly
payments, based on the total number of attendance
days within the entire school year. Tuition is
processed monthly through auto debit unless
other arrangements are made.

FANTASTIC FRIDAY FUN DAY!
Your child will love this Friday morning class full
of fun and hands on experiences! Friday Fun Day
includes sensory time, an hour and half creating
arts and crafts, free play either in the gym or
outside at our Preschool playground, enrichment,
and much more! PEANUT FREE snack sign up will
be at the beginning of each month! Please make
snack accommodations with the Early Childhood
Supervisor if your child has any other allergies
that the teachers should know about. Our
promise to you is that your child will come home
with something they created by hand, a new
game that they can play outside or inside, or a
memory that they made that they will keep in
their hearts!

TODDLERTIME
2– 3 Years of Age
This class provides a warm, nurturing environment
and is designed for children ages 2 - 3. Emphasis is
on developing social skills and transitioning from
home to school. Language development is supported
through daily activities that include ABC's, counting,
story time, games, music & movement, gym or outside
time, and arts and crafts. Individualized "Play & Learn"
Play Dough Mats will be sent home weekly to reinforce
skills and concepts being introduced in the classroom.
Note: Parents or loving Caregivers will be called for
diaper changes and must arrive within 15 minutes of
the phone call from Early Childhood Supervisor.

PLAYSCHOOLERS
3- 4 Years of Age
This program for children 3 - 4 years of age, involves
a strong balance of academics and fun. Daily
activities incorporate music and movement, games,
arts and crafts into lessons on letter recognition,
reading, math and science. Our staff recognizes each
child's unique rate of development and therefore
our curriculum focuses on different levels of ability,
individual needs and learning styles. Student
activities are designed to promote each child's
self-esteem and a positive outlook toward
learning, while striving to instill independence and
responsibility.

KINDERCORRAL
4-5 Years of Age
Our prekindergarten program offers a
developmentally appropriate, skill based program
designed to meet the needs of children as they
transition from preschool to kindergarten. Proven
curriculum materials provide age appropriate
learning opportunities for our prekindergarten
students. We provide and use a phonics based
reading program, as well as a hands-on math
program, to ensure the academic foundation critical
to your child's future school success.
