Students wishing to be considered for Summer 2019 financial aid must complete and submit a Summer 2019 Financial Aid Request Form. By submitting this form, the Financial Aid Office will allow students to defer their summer registration fees and their classes will be held from disenrollment. Students will be notified via their CSUDH e-mail account of their summer aid eligibility. Students whose financial aid does not cover the full amount of their Summer fees, or who are deemed ineligible for financial aid will be responsible for paying the balance of their Summer fees. Additionally, a hold will be placed on their student records and the Summer fees will need to be paid-in-full along with Fall fees to avoid disenrollment from Fall classes. Students planning to borrow a Federal Direct Loan must be enrolled in the minimum required units. Students, who are not enrolled in a minimum of 6 units (undergraduate) or 4 units (graduate) during Summer Session I, will have their disbursements delayed until the start of Summer Session II. Please note: Because students will be enrolling through Extended Education for their summer classes, State University Grants can not be offered to assist with the payment of registration fees. Installment Payment Plan • Installment plan is available. For additional information, please contact the Office of Extended & International Education at (310) 243-3741. To sign up, visit the College of Extended & International Registration office, EE1100. Fees may be paid three ways: online, in person, or by mail. Acceptable methods of payment are check, money order, or credit card (Visa, Discover, or MasterCard). • To pay online, go to ToroPay at MyCSUDH; Fees MUST be paid at the time of registration. After adding a course, be sure to click on “Account Inquiry” first, then go to the “Make a Payment” page, select “Summer 2019” and pay with 20 VISA, MasterCard, or Discover Card. Note: Credit Card payments are subject to a non-refundable 2.75% fee. • To pay in person, visit the College of Extended & International Registration office, EE1100. • Mail (check only) payment to: College of Extended and International Education 1000 East Victoria Street Carson, CA 90747 Dishonored Checks Students whose checks are returned by their bank are subject to disenrollment. Dishonored checks that are not paid may be sent to the L.A. District Attorney. Students with Third Party payments (online and in person registration) must submit the appropriate authorization to the College of Extended Education Registration Office, EE 1100. Students may also fax this to (310) 516- 3971. Please note that you will be dis-enrolled from your classes if this authorization is not received by the College of Extended Education. MANDATORY STUDENT REGISTRATION FEES The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees. Refunds: Refund for Summer One and Regular Summer Session Summer One (the first 6-week session) and Regular Summer Session (the 12-week session) will begin on June 3, 2019. Students dropping a course before 11:59pm on Jun 2 in either of those sessions will receive a full refund (less a $10 processing fee). There will be a 75% refund for dropping a course during the first week, Jun 3 - Jun 9. There will be a 50% refund for dropping a course during the second week, June 10-16. Beginning June 17, 2019, there will be no refund for Summer One (the first 6-week session) or the Regular Summer Session (the 12-week session). Note: Regardless of when a course starts within Summer One or Regular Summer Session, no refund will be granted after 11:59 pm on June 16, 2019. Note: Credit card convenience fees are not refundable. Refund for Summer Two Summer Two (the second term, which is a 6-week term) will begin on July 13, 2019. Students dropping a course in Summer Two will receive a full refund (less a $10 processing fee) before 11:59pm on July 12. There will be a 75% refund for dropping a course during the first week, July 13-19. There will be a 50% refund for dropping a course during the second week, July 20-26. Beginning July 27, 2018, there will be no refund for Summer Two (the second term, which is a 5-week term). Note: Regardless of when a course starts within Summer Two, no refund will be granted after 11:59pm on July 26, 2019. Note: Credit card convenience fees are no refundable. Class Cancellations If the University cancels a class, all the students enrolled in that class will get an automatic refund for the full campus fees and the full tuition fees. Transcripts Transcripts may be ordered online, by phone, or by mail. Expedited requests may also be made in person. Details are available at http://www.csudh.edu/records-registration/ records/request-transcript. The fee for transcripts is $4. CSUDH Records & Registration keeps track of your degree applicable credits and records them in your student file. Grade Reports Official transcripts with current grades will be available approximately five weeks after the end of the course. Changes From Bulletin The University reserves the right to make changes in the class schedule as printed. When classes are split or sections are cancelled, it may be necessary to assign an instructor different from the one listed in the class schedule. Credit/No Credit Option (Undergraduate Students Only) Undergraduate students selecting the Credit/ No Credit option must do so by the end of the third week of instruction. Credit/No Credit forms are available from the Extension Office, the Office of Records & Registration, and Information and Service Center, and must be submitted by the deadline. For additional conditions or limitations of the Credit/No Credit option, consult the current CSUDH catalog at: http://www.csudh.edu/university-catalog Season for a Change! ADD or DROP Classes 1. Complete the ADD/DROP information on the Change of Program form, available from the College of Extended & International Education Registration Office EE 1100, in the Extended Education Complex. Use the schedule number (5 numbers), department name (3 letters), course number (3 numbers) and section number (2 numbers). 2. If adding, have the instructor sign the form. 3. If dropping, enter the information in the DROP position of the card. Instructor’s signature is not required before end of first week of class. 4. Return the Change of Program form to the Extended Education Office. 5. Present your receipt and I.D. card. 6. Conditions for dropping a course after the third week are outlined in the current CSUDH Catalog. A student who enrolls in a course, discontinues attendance, and does not officially drop the course will automatically receive a “WU” (calculated as “F” in G.P.A.) or “F” grade for the course, which is permanently recorded.
