be a Catamount! Greek Life at Western<br />
Carolina University is like no other. Western<br />
Carolina University <strong>Interfraternity</strong> <strong>Council</strong> seeks<br />
to provide a welcoming community to all men<br />
interested in the value of Greek membership. We<br />
are a community that is diverse, driven, and most<br />
importantly motivated to better this community in<br />
the mountains that we call home.<br />

Not long ago, I myself was in your shoes of deciding if and<br />

what fraternity I would join here on campus. Remember of Sigma Alpha Epsilon<br />
that our IFC <strong>Council</strong> is made up of nine fraternities, so please<br />
make sure you visit and learn about all of them before making your final decision. My<br />
goal as Vice President of Recruitment is to make sure you are comfortable in asking<br />
any questions you may have about the recruitment process. I also will try and assist<br />
you in finding your future organization where you will have the opportunity to meet<br />
some of your best friends, gain leadership skills and knowledge through experience,<br />
and give back to the community that we all love. Lastly, I ask you to relax and have<br />
fun during recruitment week. If you are anything like myself, you will find that Greek<br />
Life here in the Catamount Nation is much different then what you have heard about<br />
fraternity life growing up. If you have any questions about Greek Life, feel free to<br />
reach out to the IFC Executive Board at any time.<br />
