Congratulations on making the decision to
be a Catamount! Greek Life at Western
Carolina University is like no other. Western
Carolina University Interfraternity Council seeks
to provide a welcoming community to all men
interested in the value of Greek membership. We
are a community that is diverse, driven, and most
importantly motivated to better this community in
the mountains that we call home.

Not long ago, I myself was in your shoes of deciding if and

what fraternity I would join here on campus. Remember of Sigma Alpha Epsilon
that our IFC Council is made up of nine fraternities, so please
make sure you visit and learn about all of them before making your final decision. My
goal as Vice President of Recruitment is to make sure you are comfortable in asking
any questions you may have about the recruitment process. I also will try and assist
you in finding your future organization where you will have the opportunity to meet
some of your best friends, gain leadership skills and knowledge through experience,
and give back to the community that we all love. Lastly, I ask you to relax and have
fun during recruitment week. If you are anything like myself, you will find that Greek
Life here in the Catamount Nation is much different then what you have heard about
fraternity life growing up. If you have any questions about Greek Life, feel free to
reach out to the IFC Executive Board at any time.
