Meet Your Host!
Need to Know Info.
Mike & Kristi Roth - Lincoln, NE
Mike and Kristi are honored to be hosting the
11th annual Agent Incentive trip! They are
looking forward to meeting some new faces this
year, and welcoming back the veteran agents!
Outside of the office, they keep busy with their
three kids and their activities. Dominic is a
junior, Isaiah is a freshman and Isabelle is a 5th
grader. As a family, they enjoy golf, hunting,
baseball, trap shooting and volleyball.
The Necessities
Sunscreen and suglasses are a must! Don’t forget your camera or
phone (don’t forget the charger!), the scenery and culture is something
that you’ll want to remember! Be sure to bring a sweatshirt or light
jacket for when it cools down at night.
Pack lightly, one large suitcase with a carry-on is ideal. Casual wear is
perfect, but please bring something that is a little nicer to wear during
the SIM Awards dinner.
Todd & Lisa Brauch - Lincoln, NE
Todd is our COO and Life and Annuity
Specialist. He has been in the insurance
industry for 31years. Todd and Lisa have
been married for 24 years. They have two
sons Matthew (22) and Justin (20). Todd and
Lisa like to travel and keep busy with the
kid’s bowling tournaments.
Nikki & Terry Dolan - Lincoln, NE
Nikki joined SIM in April of 2017 bringing with her
over 10 years of office and account management
experience. She and her husband, Terry, have
been married 19 years and have two children
Kyle (17) and Cori (16). Together we love to ski in
the winter and camp in the summer. In her spare
time, Nikki enjoys playing volleyball, attending
their children’s athletic events and spending time
with friends and family.
The Weather
April is a pleasant time to visit Riviera Maya, Mexico. The average
temperature is 78°F. During this month, highs of up to 84°F are
the norm, cooling down to around 73°F. With around nine hours of
sunshine each day, the average sea temperature is 80°F.
The Currency
There will likely be a place to exchange dollars for pesos at the resort.
But your local bank might have a better exchange rate. Also, most
merchants will accept U.S. Dollars, traveler’s cheques and major credit
cards.
The Dress Code
Resort casual by day, resort elegant by night. While the sun is up, your
shorts, tank tops, swim suits, short-sleeved shirts, sun dresses and
light slacks are perfect attire. As the sun sets and you set out to enjoy
the evening, proper attire is required (although elegant dress shorts
are permitted in some restaurants).

Rob & Kathy Blais -
Meet the Attendees!
Matt & Anne Jetter – Omaha, NE
Matt and Anne have been married since
1991. They have a 24 years old son and a
20-year-old daughter. Matt spent 25 years
working for insurance companies as a group
insurance representative. In 2009 he became
an independent insurance agent. Anne works
for an incentive company out of Chicago in the
Marketing department.
Greg & Beth Etchison – Anderson, IN
Greg joined Cigna Supplemental Benefits in
March 2017 as the Vice President of Sales,
Broker Distribution and is responsible for broker
sales of Cigna’s Medicare Supplement, final
expense, and supplemental health products.
Greg began his insurance career with Conseco
Insurance Company in 1999 and held a variety of
positions, including Sales Manager, Operations
Supervisor, and Product Manager. In 2007, Greg
joined Genworth Financial (now Aetna SSI), as
a Regional Vice President. Currently, Greg and
his wife, Beth, live in Indiana with their daughter,
Abigail. Greg enjoys spending time with his family
and friends, playing the drums, and almost any
outdoor activity, especially camping, a definite
family favorite.
Andrew & Ashley Kostus– Shawnee, KS
Wes and Jeanne both like traveling and spending
time with the grand kids. Jeanne is in to reading
books and Wes likes fishing in his spare time.
This couple has been a mainstay on Senior
Insurance Marketing’s incentive trips for nearly
a decade, and SIM is proud to have Wes as an
agent.
Jeremy Thornton – Omaha, NE
Jeremy has worked in the insurance industry for
over 25 years. He began his career with Americo
in 2001 as Marketing Director. The past 18 years
he has supported Americo’s Sales and Marketing
efforts in numerous roles.
Currently, he holds the position Senior Vice
President, Chief Marketing Officer. He and his
wife Kathryn live in Leawood, Kansas and have
2 children.
Jessica & William Edwards – Wichita, KS
I am going on my third year as an Insurance agent
at Plan Life Wise in Wichita, Kansas with Cindy
Fortune. It is a very rewarding career and I love
it!! Helping people is a passion that I have and
this career lets me help people and make a great
income for my family. My husband, William, of
almost 20 years is very supportive and he works
at an auto body shop and is a PDR technician. My
oldest son is a sophomore at WSU and studying to
be an Aerospace Engineer while my youngest son
is a senior in high school. We have three beautiful
grandbabies who I adore. I am very grateful for
the career that the Lord has blessed me with and
love the incentive to go on trips like every year.

Dennis & Amy Rayburn-Farris - Tupelo, MS
Dennis and Amy Rayburn Farris are from
Tupelo, Mississippi, where Amy serves as
Vice President of Safe Harbor Insurance and
Brock & Credille Insurance brokering groups
that provide services across several states and
are the premier supplement provider for North
Mississippi. Her husband is a trial attorney
in the region and operates from his private
law office, The Farris Firm, in Tupelo, where
he also serves as the public defender for the
city. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and
being outdoors at every opportunity whether it’s
hiking, landscaping, kayaking, or biking. Amy
and Dennis also commit daily to training with
one another to further their love of competing
in triathlons and promoting physical health and
wellness. At the end of the day, they return
home where they love to cook, jam to some
Dave Matthews, and play with their dogs, Lucy
and Albright, and cat, TeeTee.
Russ Meadows -
After Spending 17 years in Manufacturing and
Guest Services Management I was introduced
to the world of Insurance and attained my
Life and Health License in 2009. I started out
as the Health Marketer for a another FMO
working under Doug West. In 2013 I came
along side Doug once again as the Senior
Marketing Specialist for WinCorp Marketing.
We have been Building and growing the
company ever since. My position at WinCorp
focuses on connecting my agents with the most
competitive insurance products. Also training
and working alongside new Marketers to help
grow our business.

Tegrey Moot & Kirstie McDermott – Kansas City, MO
Brandon & Natalie Clay – McDonough, GA
Brandon and Natalie Clay are from McDonough,
Georgia. Brandon is the VP of Health Sales for
One Life America and has been in the Medicare
industry since 1996. Natalie is a licensed agent
selling Medicare Advantage and Supplements.
They were high school sweethearts and have
been married 30 years. They have 3 children
and two grandchildren. They love to travel and
Mexico is one of their favorite destinations!
Tegrey has been supported fully by a loving family
his whole life and Loving girlfriend, Kirstie of 2
years. He loves spending time traveling, playing
golf, and being with family and friends. He also
enjoys reading, cooking for Kirstie, and playing
beginning flamenco guitar in his spare time.
Tegrey started in the insurance business in
the year 2000 with just a list of agents and a
telephone. He began slow building relationships
with agents all over the country and got his
license in 2004. He worked for a firm in Arizona
for 14 years and has since moved to a leadership
position with Heartland Financial Group in 2014.
He works on HFG’s Medicare Supplement
product development and continually works
on furthering the relationships with Agents and
Brokers across the country. He has helped to
bring a few key Medicare Supplement products
to the market such as Equitable National Life
Insurance Company, Puritan Life Insurance
Company, Americo, and a few others. He is also
a friend and close associate of Mike Roth. Mike
likes him more than the guys at Cigna (Jim and
Greg) and that makes him very proud.

Landon & Ali Olson - Omaha, NE
Happily married with an adorable daughter
named Maverick Jo Olson, we both work in
the insurance industry. Landon has been
in insurance for 7 years at Omaha Division
Insurance Agency, and Ali has worked with
Pacific Life for 3 years. In our free time we enjoy
travel, the Creighton Bluejays Athletics, and
being around friends and family.
Cindy Fortune - Wichita, KS
Cindy started and owns a small insurance agency
called Plan Life Wise in Wichita, KS. Born and
raised in Wichita, Cindy graduated from Oklahoma
State University with a degree in accounting,
eventually earning her CPA designation in 1986.
Cindy and her son Nathan (16) are very active
in their church where he plays drums and bass.
They are avid Wichita State University basketball
fans and attend most home games.
Steven & Kim Herrera - Denver, CO
Steven Herrera has been an insurance agent
for 12 years and is the owner of GA Insurance
in Greeley, Colorado. His agency is growing
and he is excited for the future. Kim works with
Steven at the agency as the office manager.
They are the proud parents of 3 boys. The
oldest, Kevin, married a wonderful girl this past
September and they love their new daughter.
(She has been a part of the family for 8
years, but it is now official) Life is busy with
the other two boys, Mason and Bryson, who
are teenagers. Kim and Steven are looking
forward to another great trip with Senior
Insurance Marketing. Thanks to Mike, Kristi
and the entire team at SIM for all the support
throughout the years. You have been a huge
part of GA’s success!!
Wes & Jeanne Bair – Lincoln, NE
Wes and Jeanne both like traveling and
spending time with the grand kids. Jeanne is
in to reading books and Wes likes fishing in his
spare time. This couple has been a mainstay
on Senior Insurance Marketing’s incentive trips
for nearly a decade, and SIM is proud to have
Wes as an agent.
Beau Carpenter
My name is Beau Carpenter and I moved from
Albuquerque New Mexico to a small town in
eastern South Dakota when I was young. I then
started a job at a nursing home the summer
before I entered high school and that’s where I
found my passion for healthcare and healthcare
related products and fields.
I enrolled into business school following high
school for health services administration and
during my time in college I was working as a
sales consultant at a car dealership and that’s
where I found my passion for sales and selfaccountable
success.
During the end of my time at college I was
introduced to insurance sales and its many
rewarding benefits so I dove in head first as
soon as I could and haven’t looked back since.
I joined Midwest Division Insurance Agency
right after college and couldn’t be happier or
more grateful for the opportunity the agency and
insurance field has provided for me.
Greg & Evelyn Hagenston - Glendive, MT
Greg and Evelyn have been married for 45 years.
They enjoy country living in their old house in the
badlands of eastern Montana and have been in the
insurance business since 1999.

Eric & Lynnette Marshall – Lincoln, NE
Eric and Lynnette Marshall are from Lincoln,
NE and have been married for 30 years. Eric
has been in insurance for 24 years and is
President of Seniors Choice, Inc. His primary
focus is Medicare products and Life insurance.
Lynnette is a Consumer affairs Specialist for
Smithfield Foods. When not in prison, Eric
enjoys golf and bowling and sports of all
kinds. Lynnette is an avid crafter and has
been seen at many craft shows and fairs since
the restraining order was lifted. They have 3
children and 3 grandchildren.
Joe & Stacy Longo - Grants Pass, OR
Joe and Stacy have been married for 8 years,
but have known each other for over 20. The
Longo’s have 15 beautiful grandchildren and
live on 15 acres in the beautiful Applegate
Valley in Southern Oregon. One of Joe’s
favorite scriptures in the Bible is Joel 2:25-
26: I (the Lord) will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust have eaten and you
shall eat plenty and be satisfied and praise
the name of the Lord your God who has dealt
wondrously with you.
Marlin & Amy Kirsch - Denver, CO
Marlin has been in the insurance business
since 1991. Amy is a dental consultant and
a national speaker for the dental community.
They have one son, a student at the School of
Mines in Golden Colorado.
Sam & Renata Llanes - Fort Lauderdale, FL
Samuel Llanes is the owner of Safeguard Insurance
Market. He specializes in Medicare Supplements,
Health Insurance, and Supplemental Benefits.
Doug West - Salina, KS
After graduating from Northern Arizona
University with a degree in Marketing, I got my
insurance license and spent 4 years as an agent
in the field selling LTC, Med Sup, Annuities, and
Senior Life. In 2002 I got into the marketing
side of the business, focusing on Senior Market
Based products, and was the Chief Marketing
Officer for a Marketing Company. In October of
2013 I opened my own Marketing Company and
have been building and growing it ever since,
still focusing on Senior Market Based Products.
This is my 21st year in the insurance industry.
Troy & Jaymi Bader - Sioux Falls, SD
Troy and Jaymi have known each other since they
were young kids and eventually reunited after
moving to Omaha, NE. They have been together for
almost 9 years and were married in 2011. Troy has
been in the insurance industry for a decade now,
moving to Sioux Falls, SD three years ago to start
his own insurance agency. Troy and Jaymi enjoy
spending time with friends and family. They are avid
campers and enjoy the outdoors. They love to travel,
and plan to see as much of the world as they can.

Linda Bray - Wichita, KS
I was born and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas and
currenlty works for Plan Life Wise. I love the
outdoors and the water – lakes and the
ocean. I have 2 children –.a son and a daughter,
and my daughter has blessed me with 3
beautiful granddaughters – 6, & two 12 years.
Along with the privilege of helping Seniors with
their insurance needs, the girls keep me busy
following dance, and volleyball.
Tom Miller & Janice Janssen – Columbus, NE
Tom and Janice live in Columbus Ne, Janice has
been in the Hair Styling business for 33 years
has 3 Children and one grandchild. She stays
very active participating in local runs and enjoys
bicycling on area trails. Tom lives on a lake
and enjoys boating playing golf and riding his
motorcycle. Tom and Janice also enjoy spending
weekends at his condo in Okoboji, IA.
Wes & Atlee Stratton -
Wesley and Atlee Stratton, the CEO and COO
respectively of American Benefit Services are not
only newly married, but also newly heading up
American Benefit Services out of Charleston, South
Carolina. Wes has been active in the Senior Market
for nearly 20 years. Outside of work, Wes enjoys
playing basketball, surfing, swimming, working
out and playing guitar in the church worship team.
Atlee has a business acumen that has stood her
well in many industries and is happy to give her
expertise to the ABS family and the employees
that call American Benefit Services home. Atlee
loves being active, has a passion for horses, family
and friends. Both Wes and Atlee feel strong about
supporting the employees and agents that work
with them. They are active in their community, love
to travel, attend church regularly and have a strong
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
John Villarreal & Yolanda Fresquez –
John Villarreal has been in the insurance
business for 17 years. Most of those years have
been at GA Insurance in Greeley, Colorado
where he is now a sales manager. With his
experience and expertise, he is a great asset
to the agency helping to train and educate new
agents. John was recently recognized on the
“Million Dollar Round Table” with a company
because of his success in life insurance sales.
John and Yolanda enjoy camping and playing
darts in their spare time. They have been in
a dart league for many years and travel the
country to different tournaments. They are
excited to be in Mexico with Senior Insurance
Marketing.

Bob & Pam Deneke – Cape Girardeau, MO
Bob & Pam Deneke dated for only ten weeks
and have been married for 21 years. They have
2 daughters, 20-year-old Sydney and 15-year-old
Cera. The Deneke’s have been in Cape Girardeau,
Missouri for 18 years. Pam spent over 20 years
as a Special Services High School teacher and is
now working for the Perry County Board for the
Developmentally Disabled. She oversees the
program to integrate adults with disabilities into
the work force. Bob has been in the insurance
business for 18 years and working for Mike Tomlin
for the past 13 years.
Angie & Jim Hughes - Salina, KS
Angie began her insurance career with
Columbia Insurance Group in 1993.
Recently become a managing partner with
Producer’s XL, Angie is excited and looking
forward to working with the agents in
various capacities to include: Life, Annuity,
LTC, Critical Illness and Disability Income
insurances.
Angie and her husband, Jim, enjoy
spending time with their daughter, Reagan,
when she’s home visiting from college and
camping in the summer with their pup,
Russ. She is an active member in her
church serving in children’s ministries as
well as helping with local charities.

Mark & Andrea Waits-
My wife and I Andrea live in Woodstock GA
where we have our company National Senior
Advisors. We have 3 kids, Trey 9, Parker 6,
Ansley who is 3. Our boys are very involved in
sports with baseball and football and Ansley,
our daughter, loves gymnastics. We are a
sports family so if it’s competitive we are there!
Jarrod & Tara Frost - Bradenton, FL
My name is Jarrod Frost. I live in Bradenton
FL with my wife Tara and our 2 boys Preston
and Nolan. I am one of the owners of Bistate
insurance Solutions. We pride ourselves
working with Seniors. We do mostly Medicare
Advantage, Supplements and Final Expense. In
my spare time I like relaxing with my family, or
being somewhere either on or near the water.
