asset management works closely with
our public finance group, providing
ideas to local nonprofits and governments
around assets and their operating
businesses. These have provided
great experiences that I hope to bring to
the village.

What do you think is the biggest issue
facing your coverage area and how do
you plan to approach it to improve
your constituents’ quality of life?
The Village of Glencoe is a wonderful
place to live and raise a family. The
people who work for the village provide
outstanding services and attention to its
residents. I think one of biggest issues
is making sure that the Village will be
able to afford to continue as such a great
place to live. The state of Illinois has a
litany of fiscal issues facing it that will
have an effect on the financial state of
Glencoe. The Village Board will have
What do you think is the biggest issue
facing your coverage area and how
do you plan to approach it to improve
your constituents’ quality of life?
My goal as a potential trustee is
to maintain and improve the level of
transparency of the board to the constituents
of Glencoe. I would also like to see
more people in the village get involved,
utilizing all of the great channels that are
available to help people know all that is
happening in our community. On a personal
note I believe our village should
remain focused on creating a sense of
community which will have a direct
and positive impact on our constituent’s
lives.
What makes you the best/a top candidate
for this position?
It is an honor to be considered as a
candidate to serve the village of Glencoe.
I have a broad skill set across capital
markets and asset management from my
time at Northern Trust and PNC, managing
client facing teams and with complex
boards as clients. I understand the
complexities of boards and the need for
collaboration and transparency. My best
attributes are that I am authentic (what
you see if what you get) honest, ethical,
with no personal agenda for this position.
Glencoe is a wonderful village and
has been a great place to raise my family
for the last 10 years. I want to do my part
to help keep it the special place it is for
decades to come.

My experience as investment advisor
and Village Trustee prepares me
well for the planning aspect of Village
finances. In my career, I work with investors
to help them meet their financial
goals through personalized investment
management and financial planning. In
my role as Village Trustee for the last
four years, I have used that experience
to help the Village plan for its own specific
financial goals and needs. I think
the combination of experiences prepare
me well for the next four years as a
Village Trustee.

An appreciation of the long-view while identifying areas of improvement in today’s
processes, and my ability to bridge social, economic and ecological issues to
form meaningful policy.
