The Clock House
The dream: Not just a house, a
historical landmark. The Clock
House, Grade II* listed, was
designed by Decimus Burton in
the ecclesiastical Gothic revival
style, as part of his scheme for
the elegant seaside resort of St.
Leonards in 1830. Lovingly
restored by the current owners, it
was featured in all its magnificent
glory in the December 2018
issue of this magazine.
Where: Round the corner from
the groovy hub of Norman
Road and all the bars, cafés and
restaurants on the seafront.
