Welcome to the 2012 spring/summer season. As always, our Recreation staff has been busy working to plan 

programs and events for all to enjoy. Some popular events to look forward to are Community Day, the Daisy Breakfast, 

Arbor Day, the Memorial Day Observance, Fine Arts Festival, Relay for Life - sponsored by the American Cancer 

Society, summer concerts, and the popular Teen Splash Bashes. Don’t forget to look into our great Summer Camp 

program and check out a membership at Crystal Springs where every day is a vacation. Thanks to our Recreation staff

Memorial Day Ceremony 

Sunday - May 27 - 1:00 p.m. 

E.B. Veterans Monument 

East Brunswick will conduct its annual Memorial Day Observance honoring military 

veterans from all wars and conflicts beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a flag raising and 

wreath ceremony, and honor guard salute. Come out and show your support of our 

veterans. Music by the E.B.H.S. Marching Band. Event held outdoors rain or shine! 

Relay for Life 

Saturday - June 9 - 12 noon–midnight 

Heavenly Farms 

Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back! How far will you go to make a difference in the 

fight against cancer? No matter who you are, there’s a place for you at Relay . . . a 

fun and unique way for people to raise money for the battle against cancer. Teams 

of 8-15 people participate in various activities and enjoy a perfect combination of

Philosophy 

For over 50 years, the Township of East Brunswick has been 

providing children with a positive, stimulating and happy summer 

day camp experience where they create wonderful memories and 

lasting friendships. We are focused on making summer a fun-filled 

experience for your child to cherish for a lifetime! 

The Department of Recreation's Summer Day Camp is a co-ed 

camp serving children in grades 1-9. The camp provides a variety 

of experiences that support social and physical growth in a positive 

environment in which children have the opportunity to explore, play, 

learn from adult role models, develop self confidence, use their 

imagination, and develop new friendships. The program stimulates 

exploration and adventure through individual and group activities 

while developing insight into cooperation and decision making. 

Amazing trips, sports, arts & crafts, swimming, games and creative 

activities promote an exhilarating summer for each camper. 

Our camp is where camper’s personal, emotional, and physical 

needs are nurtured by staff that has a great love of children. This 

camp will give you the peace of mind that your child is in a caring 

environment this summer. 

Our camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) 

which recognizes camps for providing quality programming with the 

health and safety of campers and staff in the forefront. Standards 

established by ACA provide guidelines for policies, procedures, and 

practices, as well as education and evaluation to ensure the ongoing 

challenging and nurturing aspects of the program.

We have a wonderful summer day camp program for boys and girls entering the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades! Kool Kids 

provides an extremely active program filled with amazing trips, incredible guests, fantastic activities, theme days, 

swimming, sports, arts & crafts; the fun never stops! Campers will have the opportunity to explore, play, and learn 

from adult role models, develop self confidence, use their imagination, and create new friendships. Camp participants 

will take part in exciting fun filled activities such as games, arts and crafts, sports, special events, and much more! 

Camp offers a unique and rewarding experience for all. We provide a quality, age appropriate and stimulating camp 

for Kool Kids!

Super Stars was created for boys and girls entering grades 4 and 5. Programming for this age group is designed 

to meet the needs of seasoned campers. The Department of Recreation has recognized the need to provide older 

participants with a wider range of activities and excursions as they progress through our camp program. We provide 

a balanced, structured, and safe summer for all campers. More challenging sports, game room, and arts & crafts will 

offer opportunities to try new, individual as well as group orientated activities for ages 9 - 11. Campers will be able 

to show their creativity, practice cooperation, gain self-confidence, make new friends, and most of all...have the best 

summer of their life! Super Stars is a fun way for your child to spend an enjoyable summer; your child will look forward 

to camp everyday!

trip? Look no more! Almost every day, Summer Scene campers hit the road in search of new 

adventures. We create a fun atmosphere where your child is encouraged to discover their 

own interests and have the best summer of their life. Come join us for a summer filled with 

fun and excitement. Campers can create wonderful memories and lasting friendships. Camp 

emphasizes personal growth, builds self-esteem, and positive team building skills. This camp 

program provides girls and boys with an amazing camp experience! Our dedicated staff is 

focused on making summer a fun filled experience for your child to cherish for a lifetime. 

This proven, very popular summer activity offers time for young people to socialize with old and new friends, travel 

to great places, and work with a dynamic staff that has a genuine interest in being with them. Campers will have the 

opportunity to learn from adult role models who truly care about them. This camp will give you the peace of mind that 

your child is in a caring environment. 

CHILDREN’S SUMMER THEATER 

Grades 2 – 10 

East Brunswick High School

Limit: 100 participants 

This program is designed for those children genuinely interested in performing on stage. Other limited activities are 

included to keep children busy when they are not involved in the scene aspects of theater. Depending on their role, they 

will be working with either the Director, the choreographer, music director, or one of the stage managers. One week 

your child may be a villager, the next week a butterfly, and then possibly a featured role. The productions are written 

to provide as many featured roles as possible; however, the program cannot guarantee the ‘lead’ role to every child. 

The Apprentice-in-Training (AIT) program is an opportunity for teens to learn the inner, day-to-day workings involved 

in theater performances. They will also have an opportunity to perform in all productions. Those teens interested in the 

more technical aspect of theater will be able to work on that portion of the production as well. 

DAISY RECREATION SUMMER PROGRAM 

A summer program for children and young people with special needs. See page 17 for more information.

Playin’ Pals 

Tots will “pal” up with their own parent or adult guardian (18 years and 

older) and be involved in a variety of activities designed to teach social and 

gross motor skills. Activities will include singing, dancing, and games played 

in a friendly and safe environment. Participants must wear sneakers and 

comfortable clothing. PLEASE NOTE: Due to safety considerations, only children 

registered for this program may be present during the program. Exception: Another adult 

may be brought to watch siblings in the waiting room.

The Stomping Ground– 

An Interactive Journey 

Children become involved in a variety of activities with an emphasis 

on coordination, rhythm, music, and social skills. Fun props, crafts, and 

basic learning skills will be used to enhance their participation in this class.

Preschool Karate 

The Shua Life Skills Karate program teaches children to be confident, 

focused, and respectful listeners as they learn the basic fundamentals of 

self-defense. The importance of developing a strong ‘karate body’ is stressed 

as the children go through exercises that address balance, body strength 

and coordination, and hand-eye coordination. Our trained Shua Life Skills 

Instructors will prepare children for future martial arts programs by teaching 

necessary core values such as respect, listening, discipline, and learning to 

obey rules.

Food Funtastics

to each class to bring home creations. A cookbook will 

be given at the end of the season, which will include all

Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse 

Established by Township ordinance in 1990, the Alliance is a 15-member 

committee appointed by the Mayor and Township Council committed to a 

community-wide substance abuse prevention effort. With the aid of State 

grant funds, Alliance members plan and implement community prevention and 

educational programs, including healthy recreational activities.

ADULT INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS 

Fitness Programs 

All fitness programs are open to both men and women. Having a 

partner or friend to work out with is a great incentive for starting 

and maintaining a regular exercise program. Our instructor has a 

style of teaching that is very energetic and motivating, offering a 

great workout in a fun, healthy environment. 

Mat Pilates and Yoga are 16-session programs, Zumba with 

Toning, is a 24-session program, and Advanced Yoga is an 

8-session program. 

A 16-session program consists of any combination of two (2) 

days per week or a total of 16 sessions within the duration of the 

program. The 8- and 24-session programs consist of attending 

every session for the duration of the program.

Zumba With Toning 

Party yourself into shape! Zumba features exotic rhythms set to high-energy 

Latin and international beats. You will be getting fit and your energy will be 

soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness Party. It’s easy 

to do, effective, and totally exhilarating. The class features approximately 40 

minutes of cardiovascular exercise followed by approximately 20 minutes of 

body toning. The class is great for all levels.

Stained Glass/Mosaics Workshop 

Beginner: Learn new skills, make new friends, and create colorful works 

of art in stained glass. The fundamental skills of cutting, wrapping lead, 

foiling, and soldering will be taught. Required materials not included with fee

Intermediate: For students who have learned the skills of cutting and 

soldering. Students choose their own projects and work on them with the

This course is designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory 

emergencies such as physicians, nurses, EMTs, and respiratory therapists. This course includes one and two 

rescue CPR, choking barrier devices, and the use of an AED. The Renewal Course is for those that have a 

current certification card from the AHA, Red Cross, or National Safety Council but are due for a renewal. Limit: 6

SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS 

Daisy Recreation Program* 

For children and young people with special needs 

This program is for children and young people who are receiving special 

education services and who, without a structured setting, would be unable to 

be successful in a typical camp or recreation program. We offer a program 

that stimulates growth and development and targets the social, emotional, 

behavioral, and communication skills of children. Our staff is carefully chosen 

for their ability to work with children. They have the gift of creating positive, 

memorable experiences for children with special needs. The staff is under the 

supervision and direction of experienced special education teachers. 

Our summer program hours are from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. We welcome 

participants who will be attending morning summer school programs. We 

are set to have them join us when their school program ends and enjoy our 

program activities until 5:00 p.m. Parents not wishing to have their child remain 

with us until 5:00 p.m. will need to make plans to pick-up their child each day. 

Activities may include: sports, arts and crafts, bicycling, music, home 

economics, swimming, group games, and social activities. Trips are 

scheduled to provide opportunities to visit places of interest. 

PLEASE NOTE - If your child is registered with the Division of Developmental 

Disabilities (DDD) and you wish to have your child funded in part by DDD, 

program registration materials and the required deposit MUST be received at 

the Department of Recreation no later than five days prior to the “cut off” 

date determined by DDD. Your child’s Case Manager should be contacted 

in early January as they can tell you what the DDD “cut off” date is for this 

year. We must first confirm with you that we are able to provide for your child 

and will accept them into the program before DDD will consider providing 

financial assistance. This financial assistance, if available, is reimbursement 

of fees that you will have sent in to register your child. Any arrangement for 

possible fee reimbursement by DDD is between parents and DDD. Parents 

using the Payment Plan Option must send the first third of the fee in with the 

registration materials and then send in the remaining payments as directed. 

Complete registration fees must be received no later than the Thursday 

before the program starts. 

*You must be a current member of The Daisy Association for your child 

or young adult to participate in the Daisy Recreation Program, the 

Tuesday Evening Bowing Program, and the Thursdays at Daisy Program. 

Membership in The Daisy Association is $25 per year, payable to 

The Daisy Association. 

A full or partial scholarship, based on financial need, may be available 

for Special Needs Programs. Please contact the Department of Recreation

confidential.

Tuesday Evening Bowling at 

Brunswick Zone Carolier* 

Our ‘teams’ are formed according to age and ability to maximize each 

participants’ enjoyment of the activity. Our staff provides assistance to each 

individual as is needed. We neither foster nor encourage competition, but 

emphasize each participant’s uniqueness and assist them to develop and 

improve their skills and abilities. Throughout the program, the staff encourages 

the development of social interaction. Pizza will be served each evening at the 

conclusion of bowling and is included in the registration fee. This program is 

funded by the Daisy Association and the Township of East Brunswick. 


Thursdays at Daisy (T.A.D.)* 

Recreational activities will be offered to youth and young adults with special 

needs. A variety of activities will be offered including social games and activities. 

The emphasis will be on providing opportunities for social growth and peer 

interaction. Our activities are planned to promote the concept of “education 

through recreation.” As in all of our programs for people with special needs, 

our staff will provide assistance to each participant sufficient to make their 

participation a positive experience. This program is funded by the Township of 

East Brunswick, The Daisy Association, and through a grant from the State of 

New Jersey, Dept. of Community Affairs. 

Counselor-In-Training 

Daisy Recreation Program 

Through a planned and supervised 

program, the Counselors-in-Training 

(CITs) will gain experience in working 

with the special needs participants of 

the Daisy Recreation Program. Program 

activities provide an extremely worthwhile 

and productive experience. 

Supervision and evaluation of the CITs 

will take place throughout the program. As 

paid staff positions become available in 

subsequent seasons, those CITs who have demonstrated superior ability may 

be considered for employment. 

Registration forms for the CIT Program are available at the Department of 

Recreation and must be filled out and signed by both parent and registrant 

before registration is complete. Both registration forms and fees must be 

submitted at the same time.

Friday Nite Live for 

People with Special Needs 

Friday Nite Live is a recreational, social, and 

educational program for people with special needs. 

For 21 years, this program has afforded persons 

who are less able to independently travel, the 

opportunity to participate in a variety of community 

and statewide recreational activities. Our staff 

provides assistance to participants, allowing them 

to function in an independent and safe manner. 

Spring: Our seven week program will include Bingo, a spring fling dance, Gypsy 

at Playhouse 22, bowling, and karaoke. 

Summer: A seven week program of fun including Bingo, bowling, a mystery play, 

karaoke, summer jam dance, and EBYACP musical production. 

Previous participants will receive a registration packet in the mail. New 

applicants should call Fanny Korman, C.T.R.S., Supervisor, Friday Nite

On occasion, a program may be changed to another evening due to availability

The East Brunswick Arts Commission (E.B.A.C.) has been created 

to inspire participation in and appreciation of the arts by fostering, 

recommending, and sponsoring varied cultural and educationalrelated 

programs in East Brunswick. The Arts Commission serves 

as a coordinating body for all arts in the Township and advises 

all private and public agencies administering arts and cultural 

activities programming. All programs are free unless otherwise

28th Annual Young Musicians 

Honors Concert 

The highest scoring student musicians from the East 

Brunswick Instrumental Solo and Ensemble Festival will 

perform in concert. Sponsored by the East Brunswick Arts 

Commission and the East Brunswick Public Schools.

10th Annual Fine Arts Festival 

The Visual Arts Celebration Committee, an adjunct of the Arts Commission, 

will sponsor the 10th annual Fine Arts Festival; a juried show of fine art & craft.

their work, demonstrate their talents, and offer original art and craft items for sale 

as well as serve as a focal point for a family outing.

East Brunswick Community Chorus 

Sing for fun! Join the growing East Brunswick Community Chorus. Open 

to all participants 16 to adult. Something musical for everyone. Under the 

direction of Kathy Spadafino, the Chorus has performed at several public 

events such as Veterans Day and Memorial Day, as well as at the Imperial 

Music Center. New members welcome! 


Lap Tapestry Project PLUS 

The popular Lap Tapestry Project has been expanded to include the knitting 

or crocheting of hats, scarfs, and shrugs, in addition to the beautiful lap 

tapestries. These handmade items will be carefully crafted throughout the year 

and distributed to community seniors, people with disabilities, and those in 

need of a ‘warm touch’ during the month of October in celebration of National 

Arts & Humanities Month and “Make a Difference Day.”

EXCURSIONS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS 

Sister Act – Broadway Musical 

“family friendly musical all the way” 

Based on the 1992 film of the same name, 

Sister Act tells the story of aspiring disco diva 

Deloris Van Cartier. Trying to work her way to 

the top in 1970s Philadelphia, Deloris falls in 

love with a very rough – and very married – 

gangster boyfriend named Curtis, and when 

Deloris witnesses him commit a murder she 

ends up in hiding on police orders in a convent 

whose parish has fallen on hard times. Though 

the sequin-free lifestyle doesn’t agree with her, 

Deloris finds her calling working with the choir, 

and breathes new life into the dusty convent 

while discovering a sisterhood she’s never had before.

The East Brunswick Historical Society 

The East Brunswick Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, 

and presenting the social, cultural, and political history of East Brunswick, 

as well as highlighting state and national topics that have had an impact on 

our community. This is in addition to our continuing effort to help preserve 

historically significant buildings and sites that further enrich the history of 

East Brunswick. 

During the forthcoming year, the Historical Society is planning a series 

of exhibits and programs relative to the Great Depression Era in the U.S.A. 

from 1929-1940 and its impact on our current society. The exhibit will open 

January 29, 2012. The Society welcomes all Depression-Era artifacts on loan and

CRYSTAL SPRINGS FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER 

TAKE THE PLUNGE THIS SUMMER! 

The 2012 summer season at Crystal Springs Family Aquatic Center will 

begin on Memorial Day weekend and operate on weekends only through 

June 24. Crystal Springs will open seven days a week tentatively on June 25. 

If the public school schedule results in a later closing, Crystal Springs will open 

the following day. 

Crystal Springs is an accessible facility for all patrons to enjoy. The barrierfree 

access meets all regulations as required by the Americans with Disabilities 

Act. The state-of-the-art facility includes seven water amenities: Recreational 

Pool, Lap Pool, Splash Pool, Kiddie Pool, Activity Pool, Lazy River, and Water 

Slides. All patrons taller than 48 inches can enjoy the entire park with the 

exception of the Kiddie Pool. 

We offer our guests a limited number of deck chairs (you may also bring your 

own chairs), life vests, tubes for the Lazy River (no personal flotation devices), 

and picnic areas with tables and grills free of charge. Lockers are available for 

daily rental. The Water’s Edge food concession is also available for snacks and 

lunch fares. Crystal Springs is a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and glass-free facility!

a cooler with ice. The Resident rate is $200 and includes 5 FREE daily entrants 

to the park; Nonresident rate is $500 and includes 10 FREE daily entrants to 

the park to be used day of rental. Anyone else in your group entering the park 

will pay the resident daily rate. A minimum group of 20 is required for weekend 

rental; no minimum for weekday rental. Reservation and payment for the Rental 

Area must be done at the Recreation, Parks, and Community Services office 

(350 Dunhams Corner Road) and must be done at least 24 hours prior to your 

reservation date; depending on availability. Dates will not be held, reservation 

is only locked when payment is made at the Recreation Office. 

MILITARY DISCOUNT – All current military, veterans, and their immediate family 

members residing in the same household will receive 50% off all Seasonal 

Memberships upon displaying a valid Military ID. For daily visits, individuals 

displaying a valid Military ID will be given FREE admission to the park. Online

The Learn to Swim program enables individuals to learn swimming and water 

safety skills. The program objective and mission is to provide a positive, fun-filled 

opportunity to learn skills that will reduce the number of drownings and provide 

lifelong aquatic enjoyment. At the time of this publication, the Learn to Swim

Crystal Springs Family Aquatic Center sponsors and hosts the Sandpiper 

Swim Team. The team practices and competes at Crystal Springs and other swim 

clubs in Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties from mid-June through July 

31. Swimmers 18 years old and under are welcome. Registrants must meet the 

age requirement as of June 30, 2012. 

The team will be limited to 85 swimmers comprised of five age groups. 

Mandatory team tryouts are held in May. All prospective team members are 

required to have a seasonal membership at Crystal Springs prior to registering. 

Please note: All swimmers age 8 years and under must be able to swim the 

length of the pool (25 yards) continuously and unassisted. It is recommended 

that “8 and unders” have a familiarity with the four competitive strokes: free, 

back, breast, and butterfly. Swimmers 9 years and older must be able to swim 

two lengths of the pool unassisted and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the 

four competitive strokes. United States Swimming rules and regulations are used 

for the summer swim season. 

The competitive swim season is only five weeks long. All swimmers are 

expected to participate in all ten meets and must practice at least three times 

a week to participate in the next meet. Practices are held Monday, Tuesday, 

Thursday and Friday in the early morning (8:00-10:00 a.m.) and late afternoon 

(5:30-7:00 p.m.). Meets are held on Saturday mornings and Wednesday 

evenings. Team suits and caps are available at an additional cost. All swim meets 

are administered by the Sandpiper Parents’ Association. Parents are required to 

attend a pre-season meeting to sign up to work a minimum of four meets during 

the season. Job assignments include meet officials, timers, and/or recorders.

BALL FIELDS - Many of East Brunswick’s ball fields are used for league play from September to June; however, when 

the fields are available permits are issued for use to the public. Similarly, the East Brunswick Board of Education’s ball 

fields are scheduled for club, league, and recreation programs; limited public usage is available by permit or on a first 

come, first served basis. 

PARK/PICNIC FACILITIES – East Brunswick has 17 developed parks. Eight (8) of these parks have picnic facilities 

and two (2) are equipped with tables and grills: Bicentennial and Welsh. Permits are issued for the use of these parks 

to groups limited to forty (40) people. Crystal Springs Family Aquatic Center also has picnic facilities available on a first 

come, first served basis during the operating season. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all parks. 

EAST BRUNSWICK CIVIC CENTER, located at 

1 Jean Walling Civic Center, is home to Volunteer 

Park, Veterans Park, the Municipal Pond, and the 

Community Garden. The area offers a gazebo, fishing, 

open natural space, a picnic area, parking, and 

restrooms. Residents are often seen walking or biking 

around the pond, tending their garden, sitting in 

reflection at the Veterans Monument, or basking in the 

bright sunshine of Volunteer Park. The grounds are 

meticulously groomed and maintained by our Parks

POLICIES 

1. PROOF OF RESIDENCY 

Proof of residency is required every time you register 

for a recreation program and must be submitted with 

registration. The following means of verification will be 

accepted: 

• Valid driver’s license 

• Current utility bill in registrant’s name 

• Mortgage payment or apartment lease 

2. RESIDENT AND NONRESIDENT 

Programs are open to East Brunswick residents 

and eligible* residents on a first priority basis and 

nonresidents on a secondary basis. Nonresidents may 

register only after the program’s registration deadline date 

has passed; based on availability. 

Resident - A participant who lives within East Brunswick 

shall pay the resident fee. 

*Eligible Resident - Applies to sports programs only on 

p. 27. 

A participant who: 

• Owns property or a business in East Brunswick. 

• Works for a corporation, company, or business in East 

Brunswick. 

Eligible residents shall pay the nonresident fee. 

Nonresident - A participant who lives outside of East 

Brunswick shall pay the nonresident fee. 

3. LEGAL GUARDIANSHIP 

The Township reserves the right to require additional 

means of proof for any or all registrants when deemed 

necessary. 

4. AGE REQUIREMENTS - 17 YEARS & UNDER 

Participants must be the required age or grade level 

as specified in program descriptions. When registering 

your child for the first time for any program, kindly 

submit a COPY of child’s birth certificate or other legal 

documentation verifying age. 

5. WAIT LISTS 

If the program you register for is full, your name will be placed 

on a Wait List and your check returned to you. Wait Lists are 

a source of contact. You will be contacted ONLY if a space 

becomes available and be given a day by which to pay the 

fee and complete the registration process. If payment is not 

received by the requested date, the opening will be offered 

to the next person on the Wait List.

6. LATE FEES 

If a registration deadline date is noted in a program's 

description, a non-refundable late fee of $15 ($25 for Sports 

Programs on p. 27.) will be charged, in addition to the 

registration fee, if registration is received after the stated 

deadline. 

7. REFUNDS - The Director reserves the right to finalize 

and make all decisions regarding refunds. 

• Refunds WILL be issued if a program is canceled. 

• Any other requests will be considered if a Refund 

Application Form is submitted five (5) business days 

before a program begins AND only if the request does 

not drop the program enrollment below the required 

minimum. 

• A $15 administrative fee ($25 for sports programs on 

p. 27.) will be assessed for each refund granted. 

• All refunds will be issued by Township check and paid 

according to the Finance Department’s bill-paying 

schedule. 

8. CONDUCT AND PARTICIPANT OBLIGATION 

Rules governing the participants in a program have been 

established. Participants who fail to observe the rules may 

be subject to expulsion. A child should never be left alone 

at an activity or program site before the person in authority 

arrives to accept responsibility for that participant. It is the 

obligation of the parent/guardian to be keenly aware of the 

programs’ schedule and times. 

9. PROGRAM CANCELLATION 

If a program is canceled due to insufficient registration, 

participants will be contacted prior to the start of the 

program. If a program is canceled due to inclement 

weather/emergency situations, participants can/will learn

Insurance Information 

There is no medical insurance coverage included

RECREATION & SPORTS PROGRAMS 

• Complete the Activity Registration Form on the inside back cover (feel free to duplicate form) 

• Residents may register for spring and summer programs at the same time on the same form 

• Submit a separate check or money order payable to Twp. of East Brunswick for individual programs 

• Mail to Department of Recreation, 350 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 

• For online registration (e-checks only) go to www.eastbrunswick.org/departments/recreation.asp 

and follow directions 

Your registration will be processed and a receipt mailed to you confirming the program in which you are registered. 

You will receive an Emergency Contact Form, which MUST be completed and brought with you on the first day of 

the program. 

PHASE 1 - MAIL-IN OR ONLINE – MARCH 1 

Registrations will be accepted and processed immediately on a first come, first served basis only 

when they are received through the U.S. Postal Service or online with a postmark or date that is 

not earlier than Thursday, March 1. Mail postmarked earlier than March 1 or an online registration 

dated earlier than March 1 will be returned to sender.

PHASE 2 - WALK-IN, ONLINE, OR MAIL-IN – APRIL 2 

Walk-In registrations will be accepted weekdays, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the 

Recreation Office, 350 Dunhams Corner Road beginning Monday, April 2. You may continue to mailin 

or register online during this time. 

BUS TRIPS 

Bus trips are open to residents and nonresidents on a first come, first served basis; follow the registration 

procedure above. Participants 17 years and under must be accompanied by an adult on bus trips. 

Each person will receive a receipt confirming their registration along with an Emergency 

Contact Form which must be completed and brought the day of the trip. If you would like to be 

seated with other people, please let us know at the time of registration so we can, whenever 

possible, groups tickets together. 

REMINDER - Our registration procedure requires one registration form per household. 

Every person you register on one form MUST reside in the same household. Please use an 

additional form if you are registering persons who reside at a different household. 

SUMMER DAY CAMPS 

Registration, payment procedure, and policies for summer day camp programs differ from 

those set for programs in this magazine. Please refer to the 2012 Summer Day Camp Programs 

brochure for specific information on registration and policies governing summer day camp 

programs or call the Recreation Office at 732-390-6797 or online at www.eastbrunswick.org.
