• Selected to host Borlaug Scholars from Kenya and
Morocco
• Awarded 9 International Research and
Development Seed Grants to support international
preliminary investigative work of TTU faculty
• Funded 3 TTU researchers for joint international
collaborations with researchers from the São Paulo
Research Foundation in Brazil as part of the TTU-
FAPESP SPRINT program
• Hosted the first International Aridlands Conference
in partnership with the Chinese Academy of
Science and represented the work of researchers
from 5 continents
INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH
& DEVELOPMENT
• Selected to host a Fulbright Administrator from
Ukhta State Technical University as part of
the Fulbright Russian International Education
Administrators program
• Assisted in the submission of over $10 Million
in research proposals from 5 colleges and 11
departments
• Hosted academic and research delegations
from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Malawi, China, Bolivia,
Brazil, the UK, and Germany to provide research
opportunities for TTU faculty
• Received $1.79 million in federally funded projects
• Hosted the university of Georgia USAID’s Feed
the Future Peanut Lab Director resulting in TTU
faculty collaborations and a TTU funded subaward
• Renewed longest standing international
partnership including its dual degree program
component with Jade Hochschule in Germany
• Hosted the Senior Adviser on Agriculture Policy
to the Nigerian President and U.S. Ambassador to
Nigeria on a collaborative project with TTU for a
Nigerian national livestock transformation plan
