We invite artists who are at the top of their game to participate in the 9 th Annual SLOPOKE Art
of the West Exhibition and Sale. Monty and Pat Roberts are once again graciously hosting
this event at their Flag Is Up Farms in Solvang, CA in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. This
is ranch country on Rte 246 just off the 101 Freeway close to Santa Barbara, Ventura, and
West Lake Village to the south and Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, and Paso Robles to the
north. The Santa Ynez Valley was once home to the popular Peppertree Art Show and many
believe this area is long overdue for the return of a high quality art show. We encourage you
to take advantage of this opportunity to present your art to a receptive community.

How Much Art Will Fit On A Wall?
Walls are offered in Increments of 8-ft, 16-ft ,and 24-ft all 8-ft tall. This photograph shows 3 8-ft walls
with a variety of painting sizes including frames. The painting of Gen Custer dead center is 32” x
38”. The landscape top far right with frame is 48” x 34”. Look at the photographs of previous
SLOPOKE’s to get a better idea of the large and small paintings that can be hung in the available
wall space. All walls include 2 LED lights at ~5000°K just right for art. For the price of a wall,
Sculptors receive 4 pedestals to display their work. Cost: $450 for 8-ft; $800 for 16-ft, $1050 for 24-ft.

WHAT IS ENTREPRISE, LLC?
• Seaside Gallery has operated as a sole proprietorship since we
purchased the business in 2008
• Embarking on a fine art business as a Public event, we decided
to re- organize as a limited liability company in 2016
• We named it ENTREPRISE, LLC – a conflation of the
words “entrepreneurial” and “enterprise” as a mnemonic
that we are an entrepreneurial art enterprise.
• As ENTREPRISE, LLC. we operate as 3 independent business units:
o SEASIDE GALLERY – retail fine art / artist representation
o SLOPOKE Events – public fine art events of museum quality
o DIGIMAGINATION – a new word to describe our
photography, gicleé printing, art imaging, advertising, and
video production.
• At the end of the day, we are still just Tom & Sherie Burgher
