Man convicted in Frankfort<br />
Square kidnapping case<br />

A Richton Park man was<br />
convicted April 2 of multiple<br />
criminal charges in<br />
connection with the 2013<br />
kidnapping and carjacking<br />
of a 69-year-old Frankfort<br />
Square woman, the Will<br />
County State’s Attorney’s<br />
Office said in a statement.<br />
Dorian Yamini, 27, was<br />
found guilty of aggravated<br />
kidnapping using a firearm,<br />
aggravated vehicular<br />
hijacking using a firearm,<br />
armed robbery and aggravated<br />
vehicular hijacking<br />
of a person over the age<br />
of 60. Two other men involved<br />
in the case, Richton<br />
Park residents Chavell<br />
Anderson and Aaron Anderson,<br />
previously pleaded<br />
guilty to armed robbery.<br />
Yamini’s sentencing will<br />
take place June 5, and the<br />
charges carry a sentence of<br />
21-45 years in prison.<br />
According to the State’s<br />
Attorney’s Office, on<br />
March 4, 2013, a Frankfort<br />
Square woman returning to<br />
her home was approached<br />
by Aaron Anderson, who<br />
informed the woman he<br />
had a gun. Aaron Anderson<br />
and Chavell Anderson<br />
attempted to put the woman<br />
in the trunk of her car,<br />
but after she pleaded with<br />
them, they placed her in<br />
the car’s rear seat.<br />
Aaron Anderson drove<br />
away in the woman’s car,<br />
and Yamini drove the<br />
woman in another vehicle<br />
to her bank, while Chavell<br />
Anderson sat next to her.<br />
The two men obtained the<br />
woman’s credit cards and<br />
ATM pin from her purse<br />
and withdrew money from<br />
the automated teller. Afterward,<br />
the men drove to<br />
