It is never too late to imbibe new innovations<br />

ODC’s software development centre in<br />
Coimbatore, <strong>India</strong> called the “eFACiLiTY ®<br />
Building” is a Smart Building that has several<br />
innovative smart concepts implemented.<br />
This building got rated as theWorld’s 2nd and<br />
<strong>India</strong>’s highest ranking Green Building, certified<br />
under LEED NC v2009 rating system by U.S. Green<br />
Building Council. This is also one of the Smartest<br />
Buildings in the world and this was achieved<br />
by tightly integrating the CAFM (Computer<br />
Aided Facility Management) Software with the<br />
Building Management System (<strong>BMS</strong>/BAS).<br />

eFACiLiTY ® integrating tightly with Honeywell<br />
WEBs N4 Building Automation Platform<br />
to achieve 100% automation of the facility<br />
operations. eFACiLiTY ® building is a model<br />
Smart & Green building showcasing smart<br />
and automated facility management concepts<br />
to achieve optimum resource utilization, high<br />
efficiency and excellent occupant comfort.<br />
100% Green Power, Occupancy and Lux based<br />
automated lighting operations, indoor air quality<br />
monitoring with demand controlled ventilation,<br />
fully automated water purification, management<br />
and recycling, energy monitoring, maximized<br />
day lighting are some of the notable features<br />
implemented in this building.<br />
All electro-mechanical issues in the facility<br />
are captured by the <strong>BMS</strong>/BAS platform and<br />
passed on to the eFACiLiTY CAFM software that<br />
manages the fault categorization, work<br />
assignment, service level management till<br />
the issue is full rectified and verified apart<br />
from managing the preventive and predictive<br />
maintenance tasks.<br />

toilets, dirty work areas, too cold/warm<br />
work areas go unreported and installing<br />
