On March 9, <strong>2019</strong>, AACT Region I Representative Bevie Lord<br />

(R) congratulated Jessica Washington (actress) and Sal Jones<br />

(director) on the selection of The Lexington Players’ (Arlington,<br />

MA) production of Who Will Sing for Lena to advance from the<br />

New England Regional Festival (Region I) to AACTFest <strong>2019</strong> in<br />

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, <strong>June</strong> 18-22<br />

Oregon State Theatre Fest took place at Salem’s<br />

Historic Grand Theatre on March 9, <strong>2019</strong>, and was<br />

hosted by Enlightened Theatrics (Salem, OR). Full<br />

Frontal Nudity, presented by The Verona Studio<br />

(Salem, OR), was selected to move on to the Region<br />

IX Festival in April. Celebrating their successful<br />

performance (L-R): Tavis Evans (Assistant Director,<br />

Light/Sound, and Stage Manager), Liz Ming (stage<br />

crew), Linda Cashin (actor: Lana), Kat Baird (Outstanding<br />

Performance, Bimbi), Barry Saxton (Best<br />

Director), Jon Douglas Rake (Region IX Representative<br />

and AACT Festival Commissioner), Randal<br />

Owosso Community Players hosted the <strong>2019</strong> Community<br />

Theatre Association of Michigan (CTAM) AACTFest in their<br />

historic downtown theatre March 15-17. Celebrating the close<br />

of a successful festival were (L-R) AACT Festival Commissioner<br />

Chris Serface, Adjudicators Ron Cameron-Lewis<br />

and Kathy Pingel, Festival Co-Chairs Ruthann Liagre<br />

and Jessica Hickey, Adjudicator Larry Nielsen, and CTAM<br />
