What is a
Modulsystem?
The Metz-Modulsystem is a storage and transport system specially developed
for hospitals, clinics and similar facilities.
The main components of the system are movable container systems (modules,
baskets, trays, inserts) which are incorporated into all carrier components, e.g.
Shelves, cabinets, transport and maintenance vehicles.

The German in-house manufactured container system enables an universal use in
all storage areas, as a result of standardisation according to ISO (600 x x400 mm)
and DIN (535 x 500 mm).
The user can optimally design the material river from the central bearing to the
consumer and is flexible in the decision to organize the picking of individual items
as well as the repositioning of entire modules and baskets according to his needs.

The Metz module system is produced of high-quality
polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene
(ABS) by injection moulding.
The transparent PC modules and baskets are loadbearing
up to 40 kg per rack and have a temperature
resistance of 125 ° C. They are machine cleanable with
ph-neutral, slightly alkaline detergents and disinfectants
and also autoclavable.
The light gray ABS modules and baskets are loadbearing
up to 40 kg per rack and have a temperature
resistance of 90 ° C. They are machine cleanable with
Ph-neutral, slightly alkaline detergents and disinfectants.

Telescopic runners

Metz-ModulSystem
The Telescopic runners can carry 60 kg,

& Baskets are characterized by their
resilience, hygienic condition, temperature
resistance and user friendliness.
The integrated stacking edges prevent
wedging, so that they can be piled into
each other.
The integrated stop system also protects
the user from unintentional removal and
allows you at the same time a simplified
removal of articles, because of the tilt

Label Holders
and Label.
With label holders, the modules can be
labeled variably and thus ensure a flexible
organization. Different holders are available,
which can be attached at different parts of
the system.
A wide selection of paper and adhesive
labels as well as carrier plates complete
the variety of the system.
Module divider
and basket divider.
Dividers for modules and baskets can be
shortened to any desired length at the predetermined
breaking point. The shortened dividers
are fixed in the module or basket by using a
T-connection. This allows an individual division
of the module adapted to the articles, which
are stored. The volume of the module can be
optimally exploited.
To enable the user a variable optional attachment
of label holders, they can also be fixed
on the dividers. They are produced out of the
same high-quality ABS or PC like our modules
and baskets and offer the same material
properties.
