The possessive determiner ‘its’<br />
Why does the possessive determiner ‘its’ not require an apostrophe?<br />
‘It’s’ is the contraction for ‘it is’.<br />
If ‘it’s’ is written as the possessive determiner, there is no sense to the meaning of the sentence.<br />
