BRUCE STEBBINS<br />

HEATING<br />
The <strong>PHC</strong>C <strong>Contractor</strong> of the Year recognizes the<br />
<strong>PHC</strong>C contractor member who has a proven track<br />
record of supporting, promoting and advocating<br />
for the association, our membership and the<br />
plumbing industry. <strong>Contractor</strong>s of the Year<br />
are honored and recognized as the best in the<br />
plumbing industry.<br />
Bruce has served <strong>PHC</strong>C at the local and state level<br />
and even had an enjoyable year on the national<br />
board. He has been in the plumbing industry<br />
for just over 40 years. He began working for his<br />
father and uncles as a summer employee in 1976,<br />
and continues as the third generation owner of<br />
Stebbins Plumbing & Heating.<br />
Bruce achieved his first Master Plumber<br />
certification in 1984. Stebbins Plumbing & Heating<br />
has been a <strong>PHC</strong>C member since 1965. Stebbins<br />
Plumbing & Heating has nine full time employees<br />
including administration staff.<br />
On any given evening you will find Bruce heading<br />
to a local bike night on his Harley, and weekends<br />
are spent enjoying time with family and friends at<br />
Grand Lake St. Mary’s.<br />

DENNIS SCHLEKIE<br />
APPROVED PLUMBING<br />
The <strong>PHC</strong>C <strong>Contractor</strong> Service Award is given to<br />
the <strong>PHC</strong>C member or company in recognition of<br />
long-term service to the association, outstanding<br />
contributions in helping to further the programs,<br />
events and image of <strong>PHC</strong>C and the plumbing<br />
industry.<br />
Dennis is the president/owner of Approved<br />
Plumbing Co. He is second generation, taking<br />
over the business from his father William in<br />
1977. Dennis has been a <strong>PHC</strong>C member since<br />
1997. Since that time he has served as a local and<br />
state board member and president of each. He’s<br />
attended several national and state conventions,<br />
QSC meetings and state and national legislative<br />
days … you name a meeting and he has attended it.<br />
He promotes <strong>PHC</strong>C membership, the industry and<br />
the plumbing trade as well as helping to recruit<br />
members not only for <strong>PHC</strong>C, but ACCO as well.<br />
He helped to develop the first apprenticeship<br />
program for the NEOM<strong>PHC</strong>C and served as an<br />
instructor.<br />
And even though he is now semi-retired, Dennis<br />
still helps and advises other <strong>PHC</strong>C contractors<br />
whenever he can.<br />
