EDITORIAL: Time to say Goodbye

I
have spent a lot of time during
the past two years as editor for our
RCCDO Kagayanon Bulletin. Late in
the evening, I’ve spent countless
hours looking over each submission and
every page of my layout before the
magazine gets submitted for printing the
next day. Though there was also a lot of
time spent waiting for articles to come
in, and making major decisions and editing,
I’ve enjoyed every single minute of
that responsibility.
Now, as this Rotary term ends, it’s time
to say goodbye.
I first wandered into the Kagayanon editorial
circle back in 2017, as a nervous
yet excited Rotarian. I was completely
intimidated by the previous bulletin issues,
and by the concept of making it.
But once I started, I fell in love with it. I

owe so much to the people who encouraged
me and sometimes gave me the
boost of confidence to perform such
feat. The work I put into it has been paid
- during the 2018 Rotary District Convention,
our bulletin to received the Best
Club Bulletin Award, District 3870's
highest newsletter award. The Kagayanon
is consistently inspiring for me,
and it’s mostly due to the people I work
with. I am lucky to be a part of an incredibly
talented editorial board that always
expected greatness and pushed me
to be the best leader, editor and person
I could be.
I am always proud, but never surprised,
by the achievements of my coworkers. It
has set a major precedent for success as
I move on. There are far too many
names to thank, but I will name a few.
