Did You Know About the … Crew Bank?

Whether you are a racer looking to sign on as a crew member in a LOOR
event, or a skipper who is short on crew, the Crew Bank may provide the
solution you are looking for.
The last thing we want is racers left on land or boat owners stuck at the
dock because they couldn’t connect. The Crew Bank is a resource for both
racers and boat owners in order to help them find a match and get out on
the race course. Here’s a sample of some of last year’s profiles:
“I have raced in 8 LO300s - the last four on a C&C 27. Now looking
for a bigger, faster boat to go to Main Duck and back.”
“Motivated and competitive sailor with over seven years’ racing
experience. I possess a keen desire to contribute to the success of a
racing crew. Having worked pit, jib, main, spinnaker, sewer, guy and
helm in races of various formats.”
“With 18 years sailing experience, I raced on many boats: class40,
mini, Mumm30, Jod35, Selection, First40, pogo 2, pogo 6,5, shark, x99
… I have a lot of experience on long distance races, and I did the
mini-transat in 2009.”
The Crew Bank was in high demand during the 2018 season and crew were
snapped up very early. Check it out and ensure you don’t miss the opportunity
to participate in a 2019 LOOR event. You’ll find the link on the right side

page on the LOOR site under Racer Info.
With the Crew Bank, you can meet your crew requirements and join your
