Lake Ontario 300 Challenge – PCYC

The Main Duck Island Race Course is
300 nautical miles and starts at PCYC and
includes mark rounding’s at Humberview
Mark to Ford Shoal, Main Duck Islands,
then back to Niagara R2 mark to the
PCYC Rounding mark before finishing
at PCYC. The LO300 Main Duck Course
is open to mono-hull and multi-hull
yachts and includes a Single-Handed

The Scotch Bonnet Island Course is for
all Non-Flying Sails and yachts with flying
sails and a PRHF rating greater than 180
registered in the Lake Ontario 300
Challenge. This Scotch Bonnet Island
Course starts at PCYC, and includes
mark rounding’s at Gibraltar Mark,
Scotch Bonnet Island, Niagara R2 mark
and finishing at PCYC.

Women's Annual Regatta (WAR)

This means WAR - Bringing back the
Women's Regatta at RHYC. The idea was
born over beers and a bonfire, as all great
ideas are. After two years of meeting in
the off seasons, the idea of bringing back
the Women's Annual Regatta (WAR) is
coming to fruition in July 2019. The
intent is simple: host an all women's
regatta which is both competitive enough
to challenge experienced racers and
inclusive enough to draw new sailors
to the race course.

Bronte Harbour YC Overnight Race

The course is from the BHYC start line
to the CCI Weather Tower, Niagara
River Mark, Gibraltar Buoy, finishing at
Bronte Inner Harbour light mark.
July 28th
LYRA 100 Mile Race

The 100 Mile Race is new for 2019
LYRA Race Week and can be used as a
counter event for the Overall Regatta
Championship (100 Mile Race, Centennial
Cup or Founders Cup Race count for 0.5).
Awards for IRC and PHRF First Overall
and Division Winners. Starts Sunday
July 28 outside Rochester Harbour, rounds
Rochester Weather Buoy, finishes off
Toronto Island Pier.
July 30th
LYRA Centennial Cup Race

The Centennial Cup was first donated
in 1977 by Rochester Yacht club to the
first PRHF-LO corrected time winner of
the race from Youngstown Levels Regatta
to the host club of the LYRA race week.
It is generally held on the Monday starting
in Toronto. The course continues to a
mark off either Olcott or Brockport,
NY, and finishes at Rochester. Please
check website for more details.
