One hundred and thirty-eight<br />
Wood Oaks students are now on<br />
their way to Glenbrook North<br />
and beyond after graduation<br />
ceremonies on May 30.<br />
The ceremony at Glenbrook<br />
North included a welcome by Principal<br />
Rob McElligott and speeches<br />
by David J. Kroeze, superintendent<br />
of Northbrook District 27,<br />
and Helen Melnick, president of<br />
the Board of Education.<br />
Students Lindsey Hochberg and<br />
Ari Meyers led the audience and<br />
graduates in the Pledge of Allegiance.<br />
Klara Walny and Eunchae<br />
Lee shared their reflections on the<br />
past eight years of school and their<br />
future at GBN.<br />
Earlier in the day, McElligott<br />
also announced the recipients of<br />
eighth-grade awards, which were<br />
presented to the students at school.<br />
