children are most receptive to the immersion method. Practice<br />
by stimulating supportive interactions with parents, teachers and<br />
anyone around who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. To ensure that<br />
they learn quickly, use materials that provide meaningful contexts<br />
and are relevant to their interests. Boost learning by reading lots,<br />
even if it is just ten minutes every day. A recommended tool that<br />
aids language learning is a series of Mandarin Chinese-English<br />
bilingual digital audio books by YiDuBao. Another strategy that<br />
can help enormously is to break down the basics and help children<br />
understand how Chinese characters are constructed. Knowing the<br />
function of components in Chinese characters fosters children’s<br />
