MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN
Dear New Business Student,
On behalf of our faculty, staff, and students, I welcome you to the
College of Business Administration at Stanislaus State. Our mission is to
deliver a professional business education that offers our students the
knowledge and skills to succeed in their careers and in society.
The College accredited curricula and academic programs offer you the opportunity to explore
and graduate in many business disciplines including Accounting, Computer Information
Systems, Finance, General Business, MGT-Human Resources, MGT-International Business,
MGT-Strategy/Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Operations Management, as well as pursue
your graduate education in our MBA, Online MBA, and Executive MBA programs.
The College of Business Administration faculty are composed of highly qualified academics and
experienced business professionals committed to the excellence of your learning and experience
in and outside the classroom. They are keenly interested in your success and are available to
assist you in preparing your academic and career plans. Please get to know them in and outside
the classroom.
Stanislaus State Business Administration graduates are highly sought after by employers
throughout the state. Our College Student Success Center offers you a one-stop-shop support
with your academic and career planning, as well as hosts annual Business Career Fairs.
There are more than seven student organizations available to business students, including two
honor societies, Beta Gamma Sigma, open to all business students, and Beta Alpha Psi, open to
accounting and finance majors. I strongly encourage you to be involved and to benefit from the
many services and activities provided by these student organizations.
