A SAMPLING OF
CREATIVE WORK BY
JEFF OUIMETTE

Thanks for taking the time to view my portfolio.
Currently I am a proud Foxboro, MA resident where
I live with my lovely wife Jennifer & our 4 crazy kids
Lucy, Lily, JJ & Frankie.
I am originally from Johnston, RI where I attended
St. Thomas Regional School and graduated from
LaSalle Academy, Providence, RI in 1996.
I attended Northeastern University for 2 years from
1996-98. Through one of my Co-op placements I was
offered a full-time position and started working as a
Video Editor at WPRI/WNAC-TV in East Providence, RI.
I would later go on to work for the Pawtucket Red Sox
Baseball Club as Director of Media Services from
2003-2008.
My next career step was being hired as the Manager
of IT for MassBio in July of 2008. While at MassBio
I became the Director of IT & Graphic Design.
In May of 2018 I struck out on my own and officially
started OuiDesign.
I have been designing with the aid of a computer
since 1996. My skills are always evolving, as new tools
& techniques are introduced to my craft.
2017 MassBio Leading Impact Award
MassBio’s Economic Development Advisory Group (EDAG) created the Leading Impact Award in 2012 to annually
recognize significant contributions of individuals or organizations in the arena of local, regional and state economic
development that have improved the competitiveness of Massachusetts as a destination for the life sciences industry.
Since then, five honorees have been recognized for their work in making Massachusetts a global hub for life sciences.
The 2016 Leading Impact is presented to Pfizer. With more than 2,100 colleagues throughout the state, Pfizer is
Massachusetts’ seventh largest biopharma employer. The company invests considerable resources in partnerships with
universities and small biotech companies, and currently has more than 100 such agreements and partnerships in the state.
Since opening in 2014, Pfizer has nearly doubled its footprint in its Kendall Square location, adding more than 300
employees and leasing space to other biotech companies. Pfizer recently broke ground on a new clinical manufacturing
facility in Andover, which will lead to 75 new employees who will support manufacturing efforts.
Committed to the community, Pfizer works in collaboration with Andover schools to generate students’ interest in the
sciences, through educational programming and a unique partnership with Andover High School’s Special Education
program that allows students the opportunity to perform jobs on-site Monday through Friday. Pfizer employees also
mentor students – in 2016, 100% of the participating students not only graduated from high school, but are
college-bound.
Pfizer is also committed to advancing healthcare, and supports access to medicines. Recently the company awarded a
$200,000 grant to the state AIDS Action Committee, which will be used to expand services for injection drug users,
underscoring a dedication to addressing the opioid overdose epidemic. Pfizer also has a RxPathways program, which helps
eligible patients obtain access through medicines by offering support services that include insurance counseling, co-pay
help, discounted or free Pfizer medicines and more. In 2015, Pfizer helped more than 1,000 uninsured or
underinsured people in Massachusetts, and provided 8,633 free or discounted prescriptions.
MassBio MBTA Careers Campaign
MassBio partnered with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority to run a campaign focused
on finding qualified job candidates for all of the different job opportunities available. This campaign
ran for a quarter of the year and had 3 separate design styles, with the common theme of saving
patient lives with cutting edge science.

MassBioEd Champions for Biotechnology Awards Reception was first held in November 2016.
At that time I was asked to create a logo and brand for the event, along with producing all of the
collateral to support the marketing. Here is the branded material for the 2018 event.
Udit Batra
“There is a well known quote from educational philosopher, John Dewey, that reads,
‘If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of tomorrow.’
No one understands this better than MilliporeSigma CEO Udit Batra. Dr. Batra’s
commitment to bring STEM subjects to life for Burlington students clearly
demonstrates his belief that local communities and students can, and will, have a positive
global impact. As honored as Dr. Batra is to receive this recognition from the MassBioEd
Foundation, I know that he would be just as excited to be surrounded by a group of middle
school students experimenting in the MilliporeSigma Curiosity Cube. His love of learning
and discovery is contagious. Thank you Dr. Batra for keeping your focus on tomorrow by
supporting the expansion of STEM programming for the students of today.”
Takeda
Innovative Medicine
“Takeda took on a great legacy of corporate citizenship and support for
education in biotechnology when it acquired Millennium and has even
grown its engagement in our community since. Through its Living Through
Giving program and active contribution to MassBioEd’s BioTeach program,
Takeda is a true leader in getting young people excited and engaged about
Lindsey L’Ecuyer
“We are so fortunate to have an educator like Lindsey L’Ecuyer
leading our students in exciting lessons based on real life scientific
explorations. Lindsey makes science intriguing for students
as she connects it to their lives. I appreciate that Lindsey creates
scientists out of students who might at first not see themselves
in that light, she is awesome!”
Life Science Cares SM organization is a collective effort of the Life Science industry to eliminate the
impact of poverty on our neighbors in the greater Boston area. Sarah MacDonald, former EVP of
MassBio, asked me to create a Sponsorship Prospectus, supporting documentation for membership
solicitation and miscellaneous print ads and event graphics.
Updated version 5/24/2019
Why join Life Science Cares?
It’s good business. Research shows a well-designed corporate social responsibility program increases employee
engagement and productivity, while reducing employee turnover and the costs associated with turnover. And
employees these days expect a diverse array of volunteer opportunities year-round.
It’s good citizenship. Poverty, wealth inequality and the opportunity gap are the societal challenges of our time in
Greater Boston. With more than 20% of Boston families living in poverty, not working to address the issue means we
are turning our backs on our neighbors.
How does it work?
1. Life Science Cares finds and evaluates nonprofit organizations doing the most effective and impactful work fighting
poverty in Greater Boston. Through an application and grant review process, we find programs and organizations where
we can have clear, measurable and unique impact as an industry.
2. LSC provides financial grants to these partners and builds deep relationships to understand how the industry’s other
resources (time & talent) can be put to use.
3. We work across our member organizations to recruit volunteers to meet our partners’ needs. These can be individuals,
informal company teams or all-company efforts, and programs can be structured for one-time or ongoing participation.
You receive seasonal volunteer calendars, monthly newsletters and invitation to upcoming events and share with your
entire team.
4. LSC tracks and publicizes the results of our collective efforts—via regular member communications, company-specific
impact reports, materials you can share via your Intranet or employee communications vehicles, social media and
traditional media channels.
RxCELERATE
RxCelerate Postcard Project
Contracted for Graphic Design
April 2019
I had the pleasure of creating this leave-behind postcard for a former MassBio colleague, Laura
Hamilton, now the Executive Vice President, US Operations for RxCelerate.
Shown here are the initial e-mail, Word and PowerPoint elements provided by Laura in order for me to design the postcard.
Laura’s Initial Communication
Hi Jeff,
Hope all is well with you and the Ouimette clan!
Here’s what I’m thinking. I have a lot of travel coming up and I’d
love a nice leave-behind for the companies that I visit. I really like
the postcard size that we used to promote MassBio events, BUT...
if we need to go bigger to fit in the content, I have no objections to
doing a full page. I’d like it to be printed front and back and have a
similar look/feel to our website. We are currently building it out to
include more pages, but from the current, one dimensional site, I
think there are enough graphics to pull to generate the same look
and feel. www.rxcelerate.com
Here is an idea of the layout I’d like. You can remove the boxes
around the text, I only did that so I could play with sizing to fit
everything in! Will this work?
Front page content attached. Will be back to you as soon as I can
with the back content.
Thanks!
Laura

THE LONGEST GAME
IN BASEBALL HISTORY
Commemorative Anniversary Logo Design
for Pawtucket Red Sox
Baseball’s famous “Longest Game” between the Rochester Red Wings and the Pawtucket Red Sox
lasted a record 33 innings and took more than eight hours over two different days to complete. The
game took place in 1981.
It took just 18 minutes on June 23rd to finally end the contest. The game, which drew national
attention because of the baseball strike and the historical nature of the event, attracted a near
sellout crowd of about 5,800 to McCoy Stadium.
