Fundraiser recently donated
$25,000 to two local charities,
with each receiving $12,500.
Gilly’s House, a sober home for
young men in recovery from
substance abuse, and New Life
Furniture Bank of MA, which
provides gently used furniture and
household goods to people transitioning
out of homelessness, were
the recipients.
Happy Feat is a unique ladiesonly
dance party fundraiser held
annually in support of various
charities. This year’s event was
held on Friday, April 26 at Ambrosia
Weddings and Events in
Foxboro, and featured music,
dancing, food, drawings, and
auctions. The Fundraiser has
grown larger every year, and over
225 women attended this year’s
event. Since its inception in 2010,
the Happy Feat Fundraiser has
donated more than $110,000 to

Delta Dog, which rescues
homeless dogs and trains them
to be assistance dogs for veterans
suffering from Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD); Ovations
for the Cure of Ovarian Cancer,
which educates women about the
warning signs of ovarian cancer
and provides programs for
women diagnosed with ovarian
cancer; New Hope, Inc., an organization
that works with victims
of domestic violence; and Learn
to Cope, a charity that supports
families dealing with opioid addiction.
