DENNY
PROJECT
Sandy Denny was an English
singer-songwriter who was
lead singer of the British folk
rock band Fairport Convention.
She has been described as
“the pre-eminent British folk
rock singer” and Britain’s finest
female singer-songwriter.
After briefly working with the
Strawbs, Denny released four
solo albums. Her composition
Who Knows Where the Time
Goes? has been recorded by
Judy Collins, Eva Cassidy and
Nina Simone.

guitarist PJ Wright (TradArrr,
The Dylan Project) are
joined by frequent Fairport
Convention guest Anna
Ryder, fast rising star Marion
Fleetwood (voice, fiddle,

section of bassist Mat Davies
and drummer Mark Stevens
from now-defunct folk-rock
legends Little Johnny England
to form The Sandy Denny
Project.

In a career spanning four
decades, guitar virtuoso and
composer Eduardo Niebla
has been acclaimed as one
of the most potent forces in
flamenco jazz fusion. His highly
lyrical style, with explorations
into Indian, Arabic and
classical music, has resulted in
the most electrifying, brilliant
and poignantly poetic guitar
playing on the world circuit:
Eduardo’s concert
appearances have included
the Cairo and Tbilisi
International Jazz Festivals,
the Jaipur Festival India, the
Queen Elizabeth Hall London,
Celtic Connections Glasgow
and Glastonbury.
Eduardo has collaborated with
artists including pop musicians
George Michael and Craig
David.
His latest album, Las Olas de
Niebla (2018) is dedicated to

Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly
both grew up in the same part
of Texas. They recorded their
earlier work in the Norman
Petty Studios in Clovis, New
Mexico, even at one point
recording the same songs.
Roy Orbison went on to
write songs including Only
the Lonely and Crying, and
Buddy Holly in his short career
showed his writing talents
would have gone on to match
any songwriter in the world,
earning him a place (13th) in
The Rolling Stone 100 Greatest
Artist of all Time!
As Roy Orbison, Darren Page
has developed a reputation
for vocal performances that
always deliver. Marc Robinson
has played the part of Buddy
Holly all over the world and
he performed in Buddy The
Musical.
This two-hour uplifting show
is full of pure nostalgia with
all their hits and a few earlier
ones too!
