Arts Commission sponsors photo contest
STAFF REPORT
The Village of Orland
Park Arts Commission is
sponsoring a photo contest,
Picture Orland, open
to amateur and professional
photographers to celebrate
life in Orland Park.
The subject of the photos
could be any structure,
place, nature, animal or
person and must be taken
within the boundaries of
Orland Park between July
1-31.
Submissions should be
8x10 or larger for consideration.
The cost of
this contest is $10 for up
to three submissions. All
fees collected will go directly
to the Arts Commission
to fund future art
related events. Contestants
can register and pay the
$10 fee online at www.
orlandpark.org at the Village
Hall Cashiers Office
(14700 Ravinia Ave.) or at
the Sportsplex (11351 W
159th St).
A contest release form
must be submitted with
the photographs to the
Sportsplex by the contest
deadline of July 31. Winners
will be announced
on Aug. 21 via the village
website.
