FUNDRAISING events<br />
We depend on you and your investment to fulfill our mission of<br />
connecting neighbors to help seniors thrive. At A <strong>Little</strong> <strong>Help</strong>, we<br />
are grateful that each year you give and volunteer more for us and your<br />
neighbors. Your generous support helps us spread our innovative grassroots<br />
model throughout Colorado.<br />
Engaging in Aging –<br />
At A <strong>Little</strong> <strong>Help</strong>, we engage older<br />
adults with many opportunities to<br />
learn, connect and socialize in the community. In<br />
<strong>2018</strong>, we hosted two Engaging in Aging events in<br />
partnership with the Lakewood Cultural Center<br />
and the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging. These<br />
events brought over 200 older adults to learn from<br />
a variety of community partners who presented<br />
information on topics like “Mindful Looking” and<br />
“Dementia 101,” while providing a social forum<br />
among aging neighbors.<br />
Fiesta de Mayo –<br />
We celebrated six years of Fiesta de Mayo as our<br />
wonderful and fun fundraiser in <strong>2018</strong> was held<br />
at Space Gallery in May. The evening brought<br />
together donors and other supporters for a night<br />
with a silent auction, and delicious food and drinks.<br />
The support and generosity empowers A <strong>Little</strong> <strong>Help</strong><br />
to continue providing quality services throughout<br />
Colorado. <strong>2018</strong> was another wonderful event,<br />
bringing in unique auction items and huge support<br />
for our work in the community. Thank you!<br />
Colorado Gives Day -<br />
Colorado Gives Day engages<br />
donors across Colorado every<br />
December. This event is one of the<br />
BIGGEST fundraisers for our important work. By<br />
the end of the day on December 5th, 150 donors<br />
had raised over $130,000 to support older adults<br />
by giving to A <strong>Little</strong> <strong>Help</strong>! Our biggest Colorado<br />
Gives Day yet wouldn’t have been possible<br />
without our incredible community and for that<br />
we are so grateful!<br />
